    Decent hotel. Uncomfortable bed. Breakfast people do not understand English at all and seemed mad having to refill products. I think the reason for three stars is because the Ayres in Costa Mesa was so outstanding. Every time you were greeted by super friendly helpful staff.

    Great location and comfortable accommocations. Customer service was excellent. Room was large with soft pillow-top bed. Breakfast included waffles, sometimes french toast, always cooked eggs and some type of sausage. Dry cereals could be expanded to include a healthier option. Fresh fruit included bananas and apples. Much appreciated the parking benefit for one car per room. Just minutes to the beach and Huntington Beach Pier. Easy access to the highway and multitude of restaurants. Would stay here again.

    Excellent experience! The daily breakfast was surprisingly good! The hotel was kept spotless! Staff is friendly. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept on while on vacation! Great location! Would definitely stay here again!

    As a U.S. Army Veteran living with a disability’s, enduring long drives can be quite painful and exhausting. Unfortunately, I need to drive back tomorrow. Because my recent stay at Ayres Hotel in Fountain Valley, CA, has only compounded my discomfort and disappointment.1. Before checking out, I took the time to bring my luggage down to the lobby and meticulously cleaned the room, hoping to make the housekeeping staff’s job a bit easier. Afterward, I returned to room 211 for a final walkthrough, ensuring I hadn’t left anything behind. To my surprise, I found that the housekeeper had already entered the room and stripped the bed of blankets and the topsheet—except for the pillows, which I had moved aside in order to retrieve my cell phone that I had left underneath under the pillow. I conducted a thorough inspection of the room to verify that I hadn’t forgotten any personal items.Once I arrived back home in South Pasadena, I swiftly realized that my prized wireless Bose earbuds were missing. I distinctly remembered drifting off to sleep while wearing them. I made a quick phone call to the front desk revealed that my earbuds had indeed been turned in, but they were locked away securely in the housekeeping area. The housekeeper had the perfect opportunity to notify me about my missing property, yet she chose not to, leaving me with the frustrating task of driving several hours back to reclaim them. One can only speculate if she assumed I would simply abandon my search for them.2. To make matters worse, just an hour ago, my girlfriend was unjustly charged a hefty $250 because the same housekeeper mistakenly identified electrolyte powder on the desk as ashes, falsely reporting it as evidence of smoking in our room. This incident is deeply troubling; my girlfriend did not even sign any document consenting to this charge, as I had used her card to place a $50 hold for the security deposit when I booked the room. This error has now become a significant financial burden for us, exacerbating an already stressful situation.3. I am preparing to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and consult with a lawyer regarding the emotional distress and physical pain I will inevitably endure as I drive back to Fountain Valley to resolve this matter.Thank you, Ayres, for transforming what should have been a straightforward hotel stay into a frustrating ordeal. I can’t help but wonder if my country accent or the way I dress, including my cowboy hat, influenced the treatment I received. Had I known that this experience would unfold the way it did, I would have opted for an Airbnb instead of staying at your establishment.This distressing situation has triggered panic attacks, leading me to question whether taking advantage of a disabled veteran is a common practice at Ayres Hotel.

    We have traveled across country and have stayed at many hotels, Ayres in Fountain Valley California is the most outstanding we have ever stayed in !! ALL of the employees were always very polite, happy and eager to accommodate everyone with anything anyone needed !! Every area of this hotel is amazing clean and relaxing !
