    You simply can't beat the location, this place is a gem right in the heart of Hermosa. Cara, the General Manager, is absolutely incredible and sets the tone for the entire property. Jasmine & Karla, the on-site managers, are wonderfully accommodating and go above and beyond every visit. Everyone on staff is warm and friendly. The experience is so consistently wonderful that I book my mom here once a month, that says it all.     Don’t waste your money

    Really disappointing stay. We spent 5 days here. The water takes 20 minutes to warm each time. There were dried blood stains on my sheets. When we asked for a late check out ( 1 hour later) we were told we’d have to pay $200.00 extra. My husband and I travel a lot in this country and all around the world, and we have never had an issue asking for a late checkout.Save your money and stay somewhere else! There are lots of other really nice places right on the beach with much better service!     The Perfect Hotel

    I stayed at the Beach House Hotel at Hermosa Beach on March 2-5. It was a delight. The hotel is beautiful as pictured and has lots of walkable restaurants and shops to choose from. I had an Ocean View room on the 3rd floor. Although my view had some of the neighboring restaurants in my immediate view, I could still see the beach but not really an ocean view, so that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely, quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed the free complimentary breakfast because I'm an oatmeal lover and had that every morning that was served with a bowl of freshly cut fruit-which I dumped in my oatmeal and chopped nuts. After my healthy breakfast, I took my morning walks on the beach on the Strand (boardwalk). It was so peaceful and also had a steady flow of walkers, runners, and volleyball players setting up on the beach. Hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and I never heard any of my neighbors, perhaps because I was there on off season and maybe the hotel was less active. Anyway, I was there visiting my daughter so I will definitely return and would only consider the Beach House.
