    Good Place to Stay

    ) I chose this hotel because of the location (in between Pomona and Buena Park) as I was going to Knott's Berry Farm and the L.A. County Fair. Plus, I'm a BW member.The hotel was nice. The check-in was fast and the clerk was helpful and friendly. I was given an upstairs room not facing the freeway. Upon check-in I immediately noticed the room (Room to be huge. The floor is laminate. Good thing as I don't like carpet as much as you never know what stains/liquids are spilled. The bed had an interesting metal sound. I think the frame is made out of this metal as I got out/in of the bed I heard it. The shower was nice. The only thing is that the sliding door doesn't fully shut and slides open, which caused water to spill. I like how the room had a tv with a lot of channels, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. No microwave. The a/c was in good working condition. And the night was quiet. I actually slept a good 7+ hours both nights. Rare for me in a hotel.The first day I was there I had a sign for service to prep the room with fresh towels, conditioner/shampoo, and make the bed, but they never came. In fact, when we left that morning the attendant said she would clean it. Maybe she had an emergency and had to go home. Anyway, good thing my partner and I are clean, so we were okay with it. The only thing is that we had to use the shampoo/conditioner and soap sparingly as we only had a little bit left. I like the coconut smell of the lotion too.I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice.     Went to check out and there was a sign that said be back in 5 minutes. It was 30 minutes. Had myself and three other groups of people waiting that long.     1/17/2026 DONT NOT STAY HERE!!!! DRUG ADDICTS KNOCKING AT OUR DOOR AT NIGHT. SHERIFF HAD TO BE CALLED. NO WORKING PHONE IN ROOM. NO SECURITY. NO HOT WATER!!!!     The Worst Customer Service On The Planet!

    I was informed at check-in that the hot water was out of order in the building that my room was in. The person checking me in said that I could instead have another room in another building available with a king bed (my only option when booking was 2 queens). Since the king would have been my preference anyway, I happily accepted the offer.After several minutes of typing on the computer, this person told me that the system would not let her transfer me to this other king room because it was not available with reward points, which is how I booked the room with 2 queens. The manager was called who informed this person that if the system wouldn't allow the king room to be booked with points, then there was nothing that could be done.I was then informed that my only choices were to take the room with no hot water or cancel that room and have my points given back. Then I could either pay for that king room with my funds or go elsewhere. What a TERRIBLE set of options to give a guest who has been so loyal to Best Western and stayed many, many nights there. Since it was after 8 pm, I decided to just take the original reservation booked with rewards points that had the 2 queen beds and no hot water. How could Best Western have - even for a second - considered this an acceptable resolution?It is unfathomable that I could not have been booked into that available king room under the circumstances. Any other hotel would have GLADLY accomodated me that way. Shame on you, Best Western!     A seriously nice room for a really good value. Also included free parking. internet, and continental breakfast. I also need a contractor to build me that shower in my house.
