  good hotel and but the room we stayed the bathroom door lock was a scary as once you go in the bathroom and lock the door there is no way you can come out unless you have someone staying with you. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Rest all good with the hotel.

  I just want to share a massive thank you to Nora and Andrea at the Best Western hotel, who got us out of a scrape. They are both so warm, helpful and friendly, authentically so, I cannot rate them highly enough. Thank you lovely ladies.

  Only affordable hotel near long beach. Fine for one night. Nice staff,well lit car park. Dennys next door. Not a pool you would use, very concrete, next to busy main road. A passing through hotel. Noisy needs soundproofing.

  5 Stars, 5 Diamonds. This BW has a stay and park package where you can stay and park your car for the duration of the cruise you are taking. The staff, amenities and parking were top notch and its fifteen minutes away from the LA Cruise Port where Royal leaves from.

  Great place to stay before catching a cruise!

  My husband and I were driving from Reno to the San Pedro Cruise Port for a cruise on Royal Carribean. We were tired after a long day of preparing for the trip and driving. We had not booked a hotel in advance as we were not sure where we would stop for the night. The Best Western Los Angeles World port Hotel turned out to be the perfect spot! The hotel is close to the port - maybe about a 10 minute drive in light traffic. The parking was ample and felt safe (we parked under the hotel overhang towards the back of the building). There is an entrance door to the hotel in front as well as one from the parking area in the back. I had booked our reservation while we were on the road directly with the hotel's website. All was in order when we arrived to check-in. The lobby was clean and inviting. It felt like a place where a weary traveler would want to stop for the night. The front desk associate was very nice and helpful including giving us directions to the cruise port. We retrieved our luggage from the car and headed to the room on the 2nd floor. The elevators are small, but functional. Of course the stairs are also an option and located right next to the elevator. Our room was at the end of the hall and was very quiet. The only noise I can recall hearing was a dog briefly barking outside the hotel. The room was quite spacious, clean, and though not a luxury hotel, it was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and my husband and I both slept well which is saying a lot because he has horrible insomnia. The bathroom was also spacious and included amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash (in dispensers in the shower), bar soap, lotion, and a shoe shine cloth. The room also had a coffee maker, hair dryer, and refrigerator. The only minor issue was the sink was slow to drain if you ran the water too fast. They offer a complimentary breakfast which we enjoyed and appreciated. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, packaged sweet rolls, bagels and toast, an assortment of fruit juices, and coffee. There was also yogurt and cereal available. Overall the breakfast was very enjoyable. The only criticism I have is the dining area was quite small, but for a free meal I am not complaining! The staff in the dining area was very attentive. The hotel appeared to be priced mid-range for the area. I believe the total charge with tax was about $130 for the night. I felt this was a good value considering the convenient location, free parking, free breakfast, great service, and clean as well as comfortable accommodations. I definitely recommend staying here if you need a place to stay before catching a cruise. I would stay here again without hesitation.
