    Just fine if the location is right for you

    We stayed here because it’s the only hotel within walking distance of my parents’ house, but if you’re visiting the beach cities on vacation, it’s in a decent location as long as you have a car (even without, it’s only a 20-minute walk to the beach). With taxes, for a weekend stay, we paid about $240/night. For that price, I would expect the room to look less dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. Note that exterior-facing rooms have exposure to other guests walking past the window, and if they’re talking in loud voices it can be annoying.     Bad musty room smell, otherwise decent

    It was nice except the room was terribly musty and ruined the experience. For the price I'd rather just stay at a two-star hotel nearby and get some breakfast out somewhere. Their breakfast was decent but the eggs were kind of dry circle patties and the potatoes were extremely overly peppered. Waffles were nice.
