Solid stay at Burton House

We had a great stay at the Burton House hotel. The staff are very welcoming and accomodating. We were first placed in a room on the 5th floor. This was a bit noisy because the fifth floor leads to the self-parking deck, so it's a high traffic hallway. We asked to be moved to a more quiet room, and we ended up in a very quiet room on the 7th floor, which was great. Parking at the hotel is expensive at $65/night self parking or $69/night valet. However, we found free street parking every night across Pico street on the first block adjacent to the gas station or further away on Cashio street. The hotel's breakfast options are expensive for what you get, and IMHO their coffee is terrible. Factors Famous Deli is a much better option for breakfast, and we loved walking up the road to Urth Cafe, which is so delish.
