The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Great Value for a Quick Stay

    We got a really good deal for our stay and were pleasantly surprised. It looks like the rooms have been recently renovated — new floors, updated furniture, and an overall refreshed look. Everything was clean and comfortable.The AC is an older floor model, but it worked well and kept the room cool. The beds were comfortable, and our two-queen room felt spacious enough that a family of four could easily fit.They now offer a small complimentary breakfast with muffins, bagels, waffles, fruit, juice, and coffee. Staff mentioned they plan to roll out a larger breakfast with eggs and sausage in the coming months, which will be a nice addition.Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and there’s plenty of parking. The property also has a gym and pool, although we didn’t get a chance to use them.The location is convenient too — there’s a Starbucks, Smart & Final, Denny’s, and other food options nearby which made grabbing coffee or a quick meal really easy.Overall, it was a comfortable two-night stay with my kiddo and a great value for the price.

    Location is only a 2 minute drive from beach access and the popular city park. Decent restaurant selections within a few minutes as well. Property is right next door to a marijuana dispensary, so be prepared for the occasional smell and to see armed security standing outside. Doors are on the exterior of the property, but we never felt unsafe while staying there. Decent size outdoor pool. Comfortable beds and spacious room setup. Renovations were ongoing during our stay. Overall for the price, it’s a good value for those wanting a coastal stay outside the hustle of LA.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Via Mar Inn! The property is clearly older but has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are large, spotless, and nicely furnished. Check-in was quick and easy, and every staff member we met was genuinely friendly. There’s plenty of free parking, which was a nice bonus.The restaurant was still being renovated during our stay, so no breakfast yet, but the in-room Keurig and coffee supplies were much appreciated. Several restaurants are within walking distance, so it was easy to grab a bite nearby. Overall, a great stay and an excellent value. We’d definitely stay here again!

    Best All-Around Value Stay in Oxnard

    Clean, spacious and well-stocked with all essential amenities. I’ve visited here several times and always had a truly enjoyable experience. This hotel is an excellent value and a long walk / short drive to Silverstrand Beach. Rooms are well-insulated from noise from surrounding buildings and traffic.Late checkout is available, upon request.I highly recommend!

    There are flying insects the will get in any food you set down for even a moment. And forget about the coffee maker in the room, ugh!The drains smell horribly so you can't stand near them to brush you teeth or you will gag.An insect from the room bite me in my ear....I kid you not. I didn't realize it until I was driving home and my ear started bleeding. I complained to management while I was there ..they said they would take care of the room while I was out during the day and apparently did nothing. Now I've emailed them several times and sent photos and they won't answer me. I'm traumatized by my stay at Casa Via Mar
