Mean Treatment of Me as a Customer

    rating15 Dec 2017

The owner of The Chateau Inn openly denied my booked motel reservation because I am travelling with my California Licensed Service Dog. He argued with me for thirty minutes over the issue of my dog. He even examined my state-issued service dog papers, and further interrogated me over my disabilty. This denial of service is not only offensive, but a straight-up violation of federal law.

    Horrible place

    rating17 Apr 2016

Our family stayed there one night, The room was dirty, no bath towels, no coffee maker,This place is known for dealing drugs and for prostitutes. The night that we stayed while waiting in the parking lot to get in our car the police showed up and arrested two guys right in front of us. That is not a good experience. The sheets were dirty and the manager was rude. I do not think is a place to stay. Terrible.

This place is awful in so many ways.

Booked a stay here and regretted it from the moment I checked in. First off, parking is a nightmare. You have to traverse a tiny, unlit alley and pray there is a space to park. The room however was a complete disaster. There was spray paint on the head board of the bed, the coat rack was two boards nailed to the wall and a piece of string to hang your clothes. There was a hole in the wall that had been fixed and then punched out again that management didn't care enough to fix. The carpet was so dirty that you could feel the dirt and filth crunching beneath your feet. The AC unit only worked on the low setting and part of the lower casing was missing. But worst of all (if the previous items weren't enough to disgust you) was that there was no running water in the room. Yes the toilet flushed, but the sink and the shower didn't work AT ALL. I ended up going a quarter mile down the road to a far far better hotel that only cost 40$ more a night. If you have no other place to stay and are low on cash, I advise you to save your money and sleep in your car at a 24/7 business rather than stay in this deplorable hell hole.

    The worst place ever!

If you have possibility not to stay there - please DO IT!Reception: there was a couple, women did not talk at all, the guy talked a lot of but nothing about the room, hotel and etc.Breakfast: we advised that we ordered the room with breakfast, but the guy just said that they do not serve breakfast and advised that it was possible to get the coffee in McDonalds which was not so far.Room: really bad condition. All the furniture old, broken and dirty. Curtains and bedsheets - with lots of holes. Everything was dirty and the only idea in the head was - "do not touch anything". Yard: lots of broken things just left in the corners, on the stairs, around the pool. Wifi: it did not work. We asked to fix it, the owner said that it was in progress but it was not.Other guests: really "interesting" people stayed in that place. It looked like they were living in that place. You could smell ganja around. Also place looked like not safe.DO NOT BOOK THE ROOM IN THAT PLACE. It is not acceptable place to stay. Do not ruin your stay in LA!
