  I stood at the comfort suites with my family consisting of girlfriend, and small child. It was very affordable compared the the going rates of other places to stay. There was no unnecessary traffic hanging about. Which made me feel safe if I had to leave my family alone for a few minutes. That is the key objective to this positive review

  When we first checked in, we were told that my room had been changed due to a leak in the the I was supposed to be in. Not a huge deal to me, I was still on the same floor as the rest of my party. The new room that I was put it was a mess. Let me start with the entrance. As we enter the room it has a very odd smell to it. It was not a cleaning smell but more of an odd oder. We noticed that the carpet was ripped up by the main door, one of the beds had what looked like a cigarette burn into the top comforter. There was no storage space or cabinets for clothing all we had was a very small closet with three hangers for two people staying 3 nights. We also only had one garbage can which was in the bathroom. As I walked into the restroom we noticed that we had painters tape still on the wall, looked like the room was just painted, the vent was taken off, a giant hole was above the toilet and fuzz and lint was falling onto the floor when the light was turned on. We also noticed a bug on the wall that looked like a roach. The sink looked like it had mold growing, the walls were dirty and not clean, the restroom had missing pieces on the floor board, the shower head had a ton of mildew build up, There was a sign in the restroom that stated when they clean they use all hospital-grade disinfectant but clearly that is false. When using the elevator, the inspection report stated it had expired in July 2025. I called down the to the front desk to speak with who was in charge for the night of Wed. Feb. 18th and I let them know. The reply I got was, on well we are at full for tonight so cannot move you into another room so what would you like us to do. I did at that point get very upset as that was told to me. I said if I was to look at book at another hotel could we get a refund. She said they would charge me for the one night if we do and would give me a refund. I said to give me a few mins to look and see what I can find. About one min later my booster president called me and said the mng she just spoke too said we only have 15 mins to give her an answer or the deal is off. Trying to find another hotel for 16 people at 11:30Pm in the evening was almost impossible. We had to suck it up and stay at this place. I have tons of photos and how bad this place was.

  The place is very dirty, rundown and has no maintenance. There was no hot water, holes in the sheets, towels smell, lampshades are broken and there’s stains on the furniture. The soda machine was out of order.

  I was impressed w/ my stay at this hotel. The staff has all been excellent, everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping, and the breakfast attendant. We arrived early and after a long day of travelling and no sleep the night before, we stopped to see if they can maybe check us in early - and was appreciative that it was ready and we were able to go to our room. The room was exactly as pictured. I was worried about the parking but we were always able to find parking (even coming back at almost midnight). I had problems w/ printing at their business center computer and the receptionist was very attentive to what I needed urgently that morning. The breakfast was great, they had both hot food and the basic pastries and cereal. The attendant was able to keep it stocked the whole time while interacting with all the guests. When we came home that night, we were surprised to see that they had cleaned the room already (other hotels at this price point would only turnover every 3 days of your stay). There are lots of places to eat around the area. It was about 30 minutes from everything we wanted to do while in town. What else should I say? a hidden gem? a rare find? -find out for yourself.
