    The Courtyard Marriott Hawthorne is a decent sized hotel with good sized rooms & very friendly staff.The bathrooms are large, shower preasure is good & the room has all ammenities you could need.There is a pool, hot-tub, half-court basketball & a very large foyer/bar area.Across the road there is a great grocery store & several places to eat. LA is a huge city but this hotel is about a 50min drive to Anaheim & about 30 mins to all LA sites.My 2 biggest issues were 1. The sofa bed, super uncomfortable for a child, let alone an adult.2. The parking cost - $25 USD a day is just outrageous for a hotel in the suburbs.A big shout-out though to Carlotta at the front desk, super helpful with some minor issues we had.     Spent one night prior to early flight. Room was ok. Bed not comfortable - at all. Aside from normal airport noise, some type of grinding gears noise that lasted a few hours. The bathroom had a very unique shower. Shuttle was fast, but we left at 5 am.     Decent hotel. The friendly front staff makes up for the poor housekeeping service.

    It's a decent hotel. Parking can be a little tricky at night, but during the day there should be space to park in the front. Our personal experience with the hotel was that we stayed there for 5 days and when we had asked for someone to clean our room midtrip they forgot both times after we reminded them twice. And when they did clean our room, they forgot to replace the toilet paper. Our toilet paper wasn't even fully out yet, they just removed the whole roll and left us with nothing. Imagine one of us sitting in the bathroom while waiting for their friend to run down to the front desk to ask immediately for toilet paper.If it wasn't for the really friendly, nice front desk we talked to we'd say the service in this hotel is bad. Hawthorne Marriott, put your money in treating your front desk staff right cause you're clearly not putting it anywhere else in this hotel.     Amazing staff , huge clean rooms and breakfast was better than going to any restaurant.

    This spacious hotel has everything..a nice little pizza place right on site, a grocery store to walk to right across the street, laundry, gym, an amazing breakfast and staff. I cant say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean as was every place I went in this hotel not to mention the outside was just beautiful and clean everywhere. i especially loved the entire staff especially Brianna at the front desk who went beyond by making our stay just that much brighter. For the price this hotel is worth it.     Dishonest and Management Useless in Resolving A Problem They Created

    I am a lifetime Platinum member of Marriott Bonvoy and have never received such poor customer service to resolve an issue caused by the hotel.I received my final folio 10 hours after I checked out and was surprised to see that they took all the money from the Marriott gift card I used to pay for my room and parking.When I called back to complain and requested them to return my money, I was given the runaround and multiple excuses that didn't make any sense:1. I was charged an additional tourism tax because I used a gift card2. I had to pay for more parking (already paid for my only car)3. Their system can only withdraw all funds from the Marriott gift card, never informed up front when I said to apply the required funds to just close what was originally due.4. We cannot refund the money taken from your gift card. Seriously you take all my funds and refuse to give me back what should never have been taken!!!I talked to multiple people at the front desk (person only providing initials of GGG), a manager Jesus Flores and all they could do was come up with excuses on what happened. I left messages for other management like Todd and their voicemails are always full so one can't leave a message or they don't bother to return the call. The owner Nicole D offered up some banal response that looks good from their POV but still made no effort to my money that never should have been taken from me. Never trust what this hotel does or says with respect to your money.I will never stay here again given management's utter disregard for the truth and returning my money that they should never have taken from me in the first place.
