    Location was good for our purpose in being in Murrieta. We always stay at Marriotts-mostly because you’re (almost) always guaranteed a good bed-which was the case at this one. The room was just okay. I assume this was a franchised location ie lower standards and poor upkeep. Our room keys kept not working and had to be replaced a number of times. The wifi was super iffy, weak signal and/or no connections. The AC unit started “chirping just as we were going to bed-they’d “send someone in the morning”. (I get it, stuff happens, but really. ) Crazy thing is our 3 night stay averaged $200 a nite! Maybe the Courtyards are just bad(; I definitely do not recommend.

    Staff is very friendly and professional. We loved our expertly cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and sourdough toast and big cups of coffee. This was our 2nd stay at this location. Thank you!

    Nice hotel which you come to expect from a Marriott. However the beds in this hotel were extremely hard. It’s in a good location. Near restaurants etc.

    Easy to find. Warm and friendly reception. Extremely clean room, no smells. Was initially placed next to a noisy courtyard, circumstantial for them. Alicia at reception helped me find a quieter room. Extremely grateful as I am here for sports and training early. Thank you for an A+++ experience!

    This was our first time at this location -- check in was quick and easy with Shaime (sp?) at the front desk - our room wasn't quite ready yet but we received a call the moment it was available. We stayed in a King Suite and I was surprised that there was no carpet in either room, including the bedroom until my husband pointed out that we were actually in a handicapped suite which then, no carpet made sense.I was surprised that at the coffee maker, there were 3 cups, not four. Two of the cups were wrapped in plastic and one of them wasn't. Additionally, although only 3 bags of coffee, there was no tea which I've always had in the multiples Marriotts I've stayed at.In the coffee maker area, there was a small refrigerator and a sink. There was also a floor to ceiling mirror in that area and when you realized you could actually pull on the mirror, it revealed a huge pantry inside -- not a hanging closet but a pantry with shelves. Not sure what that space is for since you can't cook in that area.In the bedroom, I was also surprised to find only 3 hangars in the closet which isn't very helpful to two people (and quite frankly not enough for one person) and in the bathroom was the tiniest bar of soap and absolutely nothing else - no hand/body lotion or any other type of bathroom amenity.As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member with more than 2 million points, I was surprised again that I wasn't offered the choice of additional points or a credit in the marketplace. When I questioned that upon checkout, she asked if I wanted the points so of course, I said yes.And finally, I was told that not one room in this hotel has carpet in it. Not one, so it wasn't just because we were in a handicapped room!!!
