  Convenient Spot in Sunny Santa Monica!

  I had a great stay here! The location is super convenient. It's an easy walk to plenty of great cafés and restaurants. Parking was simple, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.   I had a wonderful stay with my husband at the Day's Inn! Its location is extremely convenient, with easy walking access to tasty cafés and restaurants. Parking at the hotel was also convenient. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly.   Professional Guest Relation Attitude & Conduct Below Wyndham Policy & Standards

  The reservations were made by Wyndham Rewards Guest Relations 2/18/2026 w/special notation: Ambulatory Mobility Handicap Traveling with Service Dog. Room 1st floor near and exit door. Under the W R Program Free Nights Days INN at Santa Monica only offered a 2 Queen Room. This was reserved. I only needed a single Queen or King Bed Room which the W R Guest Relations employee informed the hotel while I was on the phone with the employee. On 3/24/2026 I called Days Inn, S M to confirm if the request was fulfilled as a curtesy to eliminate problems; Response we can only provide what room is available. Again I informed the Days Inn employee the need for the special request to be fulfilled. As a Premier Wyndham Rewards Member I did not receive a preregistration Email as in previous Wyndham Hotels. Day of arrival 2/25/2026 2:15PM I attempted to sign in however, I was informed there was no available rooms on the first floor with 2 Queen Beds. No offer to switch to either a single Queen or King was made until the clerk involved the manager after I got very assertive about my request and I informed him that I would sleep in my car in front of the office & report it to W R Rewards Corporate. The manager did a room upgrade to RM 106 (Handicap). If I am correct based on the sound of opening & closing doors RM 105-107-108 were absent of this throughout my stay. Note: After the initial presentation of my ID I was never addressed throughout the stay as Mr. Geddry or a Thankyou for being a Premier Rewards Member. During the initial signing inn, the employee answered the phone, did not ask the caller if he could put them on hold cause he was registering a guest. I was left standing there while he carried on a conversation with the caller. Then I had to wait in the lobby until a room was assigned. Additionally, there was no apology made by the manager or employee for the problem encountered.Continuation of problem: I was initially offered a room above the 1st floor but it required the use of an elevator and extensive walking. I informed the clerk that neither my service dog or I can use an elevator due to the confined space creates a problem with my military service-connected-disability. What I encountered initially in my registration was so disrespectful it prevented my stay unrestful and angry to be treated as nothing more than a meal ticket for hotel profit.Ground floor only has 4 handicap parking spaces. In addition you could not park on the street if you did not want to pay for hotel onsite parking due the residential housing on the Stanford Street. Normally, hotel parking is free cause it is included as a benefit. If you figure the number of rooms in this hotel times $10.00 per day parking fee that is taking advantage of guests. daysinn team, Other at Days Inn by Wyndham Santa Monica, responded to this review We apologize for not meeting your expectations.Thank you so much for staying with us!We appreciate your time and your business.

  Perfectly fine hotel given location and value for money.   Recently renovated, my 4th floor room looked great. Bed was comfortable and all items worked well. A nice balcony with table and chairs is included with 4th floor rooms. Parking now is not free - $11 per night.
