    The most run down Embassy Suites I have stayed in...Very dated and does not appear to be kept up. Long walk to rooms, stains on carpet, lobby chairs worn out, bar area dark and dated. Noisy especially for room facing pool. On the positive side, the staff was friendly. I have been a loyal Hilton / Embassy Suites customer, but would NOT stay here again!     We stayed for one night with our family and had a wonderful experience. Josh checked us in and was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. Even though the front desk was busy, he managed every guest with patience and efficiency while making each person feel valued.     The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from your neighbors.

    The walls in the room we stayed in was paper thin. We can hear the conversations of the people next door clearly. It was like they were in the same room. Then it got worse when they fell asleep. We could hear them snoring loudly. I had to wear ear buds to get some sleep.     My husband has to visit Valencia a couple of times a year and depending on rates and availability we have stayed at this hotel as well as a few others in the area. One thing is certain about this hotel is you always get a nice stay. On this trip my husband originally booked a king, but after chatting through the app and letting them know our family of four would be in the room they upgraded us to a two double room. The hotel is older, but very clean! Beds are comfortable. Evening social was nicely run. Breakfast is always plentiful. Even though it is January the pool temp was very nice and both the pool and hot tub were very clean. I don’t write too many reviews on TA, but when someone goes above and beyond I always try to stop and take the time to write a review. I call those employees that make me stop and review the “Aces”. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting Michael whose customer service was truly aces. Our air conditioner was set on 71 and I tried to lower it and it would not change. I had just put together a large floral arrangement that we are taking to the cemetery today. I went to the front desk to ask if we could get some assistance to adjust the ac and the front desk attendant called it in. Michael arrived a minute after I returned to the room. He quietly and quickly fixed the thermostat. As he did I mentioned I wanted it cooler for the flower arrangement. He immediately offered their walk in cooler. He escorted me to the cooler while passing his boss and explaining what he was doing. The arrangement was put on a top shelf and labeled. Michael is a true gentleman with great customer service. He said he has worked for Hilton for 10 years. What a great person to have working for Embassy suites. We are about to check out but wanted to write and say thank you Michael! Aces!!     A third party scammed us on our reservation and the management of the hotel was nothing but nasty to us while we were trying to figure it out. Attitude, impatience, and pure disrespect was all we received when we arrived late at night and were just trying to figure out how to fix the problem. Furthermore, the place is disgusting and smells like weed. Never come here.
