    Difficult to get sleep here

    It’s difficult to get a good night sleep here due to loud stomping of feet from rooms above as well as loud TV noise from adjacent rooms. There is no gym and swimming pool here. The hallways also have a faint odor. Also someone was getting arrested by police near the front entrance of the hotel.Other than that This hotel is right next to a shopping plaza with several stores and restaurants such as Staples, Lowe’s, Target and Starbucks. They don’t charge a deposit at check in and also the front desk is very customer oriented and courteous. There is complimentary breakfast served in the morning which consists of coffee, muffins and nut bars. There are laundry and vending machines in the property as well.     I have been at extended stay for awhile now in Burbank Management is hit and miss And if you go past dueThe lawyer never contact you Despite contacting them I ended up in the hospital for almost 10 days I called the lawyer with zero response Now even though I’m still fighting health issues I was served with a eviction with no court date and not being able to defend myself ESA GM, General Manager at Extended Stay America - Los Angeles - Burbank Airport, responded to this review Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback.     I’m staying at Extended Stay America in Burbank. I pushed for my landlord to pay for this specific stay because they advertised a full kitchen, but the room is very small and the queen-sized bed is also quite small. They did not provide any utensils. I checked in around 6:30–7:00 PM, and no solution was offered to help me prepare a meal. I brought my own food but couldn’t cook, and no assistance was provided. The night staff was nice.In the morning, it was the same situation. The front desk staff member lacked bed manners. She wasn’t even at the front desk and was off to the side. I had to call out “hello” just to get her attention, and she still didn’t offer any help. There was a clear lack of professionalism and very poor customer service. At most other hotels, if they fail to provide what they advertise, they will at least offer a food voucher or some kind of accommodation. Only one cart to bring your staff to the room, and if not available, no help provided. They also charge you more if you ask for two beds instead of a big one, most 4-5 stars hotel offer that complimentary.Housekeeping every two weeks lol disgusting.     We booked 2 nights as we were finishing a week long trip to visit family and friends in Cali. The staff is friendly. The issue was the room and what is listed as amenities. I went to the store for food and when we entered the room- no microwave and cabinets were bare. I was told no microwave or coffee and then handed old and gross cookware. My friend said something was biting her feet as she sat in bed. I booked another hotel ASAP, told the staff we could not stay for the two nights and left. I requested the manager look at our situation. I understand the usual "no refunds", but this was not the typical, "I just choose to leave." After a week, the manager declined and I was charged $291 for 2 nights that never happened. This place has other issues that I won't address here, but we booked a MUCH better hotel for the exact same price- gorgeous lobby, coffee in room, pool, etc. I am known for ONLY leaving positive reviews, but this deserves what it's getting. The request I had was for at least ONE night refunded. The offer was to give me a room for a future stay? Did they even read my notes? Oh well, just be aware that there are other hotels nearby that will offer a lot more for the same money.     Bring cleaning supplies

    Serviceable. Good sized rooms . Super convenient location with both Target and Walmart walk to. cleaning not OK. My room had a dried up cockroach behind the door, clothes left in the dresser drawer, brown blob of unknown origin behind br door. You get the point. I got out my cleaning supplies. The outside was not maintained at all. Overflowing garbage bins, dog poop all over, landscaping hasn't been done in years.
