  Right next to century movie theater

  This hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the Stadium Promenade shopping plaza, which features a Century movie theater and plenty of dining options including Prime cut cafe, Starbucks, Pit Fire, etc. It’s also just a short walk or drive to the Honda Center arena. A paved bike and pedestrian path runs right behind the hotel, perfect for walks or cycling.Room & Amenities:• Full kitchen setup with a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, sink, and cabinets• Flat-screen TV with cable, work desk with office chair, leather recliner, air conditioning, and ironing amenities• Complimentary bar soap in the bathroom• Quiet rooms — I experienced almost no noise from neighbors• Guest laundry, vending machines, and complimentary grab-and-go breakfast• No security deposit required (though they do hold a debit or credit card)A few drawbacks:• Check-in took over 20 minutes• There was a slight odor in the hallways and my bed had a noticeable pet smell• No gym and swimming poolOverall, the excellent location and well-equipped kitchenette make this a solid choice for extended stays or families, but the housekeeping/maintenance issues and lack of basic recreation facilities are worth noting.

  Worse stay ever

  My worse stay ever. The only good thing was the location. I booked it for 1 night for the concert and I couldn't bare to stay overnight so I drove back home instead. See pictures attached.   Below Bare Budget - You can get much better ANYWHERE else.

  The 1635 Katella property isn't very good at all. Nothing in the kitchen to cook with, not even a glass. At 8pm on pur last night we return to a single kitchen towel, and a paper with kitchen stuff we could ask for. REALLY!?2 tiny and I mean tiny, bars of soap, with 3 tiny towels, no other bathroom amenities - not even a shower mat. NO SHAMPOOS, NO HAIR DRYER, NO COFFEE MAKER, NO WATER CUPS, NOTHING YOU'D EXPECT IN A $150/NIGHT EXTENDED STAY ROOMBloody pillows and bedding, and a toilet that stopped working every time it was used. After waiting for someone to address it, we finally got the plunger ourselves. THERE ARE NO MAINTENANCE PEOPLE ON SITE. After doing this THREE times, we kept it until we left.And then there's the most important part, the bed - think a 60s era cheap spring mattress for a child. This was honestly, THE WORST HOTEL MATTRESS, I've ever had to sleep on. I'm in so much pain, its ridiculous. There were no extra pillows or blankets offered in room. Breakfast is coffee, a prepackaged muffin or a granola bar. Its not a grab and go breakfast, its not breakfast at all. This was not good value for money.   Why did they lie about a free room?

  My first room had a broken faucet and was promised a different room for free bc it had a broken a/c. Unfortunately the gm Jose said his staff never made such promises and gave me a discount. I would’ve stayed at the same hotel by gardening walk 5 min down the street if I had known it would not be free. Awful customer service.
