  Best hotel ever!

  I had the absolute best experience ever! Denise helped me from the very beginning to the very end, without her i would have not been able to go. I truly recommend this hotel it’s such a cute home feeling hotel that accommodate your every need unlike other hotels! Even gave you beach towels 🤩. The price was worth every penny I am definitely coming back!

  Ferried back & realized we left our car keys at the hotel. Sam (hotel empl) ran them down to the last ferry out!!

  My friend and I spent one night at the Glenmore Hotel on 4/7/26 and had a wonderful time. It was clean and quiet and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. We experienced a kerfuffel after we took the ferry back. After getting to our car, we realized that we had left the car keys at the front desk of the hotel and had the hotel room key in our pocket instead. We called for road service and priced the cost of getting a tow, and a new key made (very expensive). We would have also had to spend the night in a hotel. Then it dawned on us to call the hotel to see if they could help us. A hotel staff member (Sam) offered to run the car keys down to the ferry (the last one for the day) and we were able to retrieve them from the ferry staff member when they got here. We were so relieved!! Sam went above and beyond to help us! We were so grateful for his help. Kudos Sam!

  Vintage hotel with a few quirky characteristics-so bring a bit of a sense of humor. Center location in town, flat straight walk from the ferry terminal. It is off the main street so a bit quieter. Continental breakfast included. The staff is very helpful and Denise is a wonder. Reasonably priced.

  Warm Hospitality in Avalon

  My mom and I came to the island for a 2 night trip. When choosing this hotel over any of the others, it was the location and price that was appealing. For being the oldest hotel on the island, the room was fairly renovated, with a beautiful walk-in marble shower. While the hallways were a bit chilly, but we were there in the winter and had warmth in our room. The bed was comfortable with quality blankets. Street noise is moderate but was not too loud at night. Continental breakfast is limited - with coffee, juice, and bagels- but the hotel is walking distance to our new favorite spot - Catalina Cookie Company. Denise and Sam at the front desk were super helpful in giving us happy hour and tour recommendations, telling us about the history of the town, offering us extra waters and storing our luggage after checkout so we could explore more until it was time to head home. Their warm hospitality will not be forgotten. Everyone on the island was pleasant - we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

  🌴 Birthday Bliss in Catalina - The Perfect Getaway 🌴

  Hands down the best birthday surprise trip ever! My boyfriend found this absolute gem just steps away from the water, shops and restaurants. It was our first time in Catalina and we were blown away from the moment we arrived…the clear ocean water, beautiful sea life, perfect weather and most of all, the incredible hospitality.Jimmy welcomed us at check-in and gave us true white-glove service along with a little history lesson about the Glenmore, learning that it’s the second oldest hotel in Catalina and the last one standing made our stay even more special. Sam was amazing too and made everything so easy when it came to accommodations. The staff here is truly top-tier.We’ll definitely be staying here again. Thank you, Glenmore, for making my 34th birthday unforgettable! ✨🎉
