    I can't say enough about the stay at Grand Vista. From the time you walk in the door treated by the most amazing staff, to the breakfast staff so willing to please. The well equipped spacious clean room and grounds. One of the most affordable rooms in Simi Valley . The Arena Bar is right on premises if you want some great bar bites and entertainment. I would make this my go to place when I'm traveling in or near Simi !

    Room is descent. Fridge. And microwave in room which is nice, along with a small couch. I don't like the fact that bathroom door closes automatically.

    Christopher was great at the front desk , I was a Guest Service Manager myself. He killed it with the customer service !!!! Would come back , nice stay :)

    Booked two adjoining rooms for two nights. Jonathan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He told me everything I needed to know. The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. The rates were super reasonable @ $90 a night. At that rate I wasn't expecting Marriott or Hilton furnishings so if you're picky about slightly worn-out carpeting or slightly weathered furniture, this may not suit you. It didn't bother us a bit. The hotel sits atop a hill with a "grand vista" of Simi Valley. We were very happy with selecting this hotel for our visit to the Reagan Library.

    Treating Fire Evacuees Horribly

    Only stayed here because we were under mandatory evacuation during the many fires in LA and this was one of the few that had vacancies. After paying online we were told we'd have to pay more for parking (which wasn't even in a gated area for safety so what was the additional fee for?). Asked the guy at the front desk if that could be waved as a bit of sympathy for some stressed out guests that may be losing everything. Nope. His only reply, "Oh, what fire are you effected by?" Awful customer service to the many people checking in obviously stressed out at this time.Wonder how much they are overcharging the state for all the firefighters staying there?Their general manager, Tim Lasure, is a coward that won't respond. Shame on this run down, dirty hotel for taking advantage during one of the worst disasters in LA's history.
