    Terrible hospitality/ terrible customer service and rude to guests

    Very rude front desk staff working at 6pm on March 6th. The staff were on their cell phones and very unattentative. I chose a room on the Hilton honors app being a gold member that was at the end of the hallway far from the elevator and when they checked me in I asked about my room and the front desk agent was very rude to me and said I get the room right next to the elevator. I will never stay here again and I am letting people know stay far from here. The hotel has renovations going on and they decided not to put anything on the website warmning guests about this. I know other Hilton properties always list on the website site when they are having a renovation.

    Great stay close to Kaiser LAMC and LA Children’s

    I had a medical procedure at Kaiser LAMC and needed a hotel in the area. This Hampton Inn is less than 5 miles away and fit the bill. Check-in was easy and front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a king room on the 4th floor and as one reviewer said yes, there is road noise. I planned for that and brought a travel sound machine which did the trick. The bed was comfy and the room was super clean. The bath had a large walk-in shower with good pressure. The free breakfast was adequate and the coffee was good but if you want a little more the Americana is directly across the street with loads of restaurants.

    Fruit flies in the room

    This is the second time we were here. We like it a lot but the last time we were here the 2nd floor was being renovated. They sent us to the 3rd dloor. There are fruit flies in the room! Flying while we sleep and while we watch TV! I don't know why we never complained considering we stayed there for 4 days!!! And please clean the underside of the sink! Also, the carpet on the hallways should be shampooed.. they're not clean at all!

    To hotel manager:The first room we checked into had unpleasant odor so we requested a different room. To my surprise, the headboards in both rooms (all 4 beds) looked so beat up, with scratches and rips. It was quite embarrassing as I booked this hotel for a friend to stay. On the bright side, staff are friendly and helpful. Second floor Breakfast area is nice. Parking is convenient. Thank you for your attention.
