Location

This hotel is connected to the World Trade Center and is located 6 blocks from the Long Beach Convention Center and 8 blocks from the shops and restaurants of Long Beach promenade. The Passport Shuttle is available in the immediate vicinity and the sandy beach is a 5-minute drive. The centre of Long Beach is a 10-minute walk and guests will also find the Pine Street restaurants, bars and clubs 10 minutes away. Los Angeles is 30 minutes away by car.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 15-storey building with a lift and 397 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Terrible front desk experience/Wonderful room service customer service

    Not the warm welcome I was hoping for.I arrived about 30 minutes before the posted check-in time, so I completely understood that my room wasn't ready. My issue wasn't the wait, it was the process.After being awake since 4:00 AM and traveling across the country, I stood in a long check-in line only to be told to come back later. When I returned, I had to stand in the same long line all over again. As someone with front desk experience, I couldn't help but think there were much better ways to handle this, whether through a text notification, callback, or a separate process for guests whose rooms become available.Unfortunately, my initial interaction at the front desk was not particularly welcoming. After a long day of travel, I would have appreciated a little more courtesy and communication regarding both the room delay and the check-in process.I was also surprised by a $200 hold being placed on my card without it being mentioned during check-in. A simple explanation would have prevented confusion.The bright spot of my stay was the room service staff. They were genuinely kind, professional, and provided the best customer service I experienced at the hotel. Every interaction with them was wonderful.The room itself was fine, but the arrival experience left a poor first impression. If you're arriving after a long day of travel, be prepared for a potentially frustrating check-in process.     Don’t bother!

    The hotel is so incredibly old. I was upgraded as a Hilton Honors and the room was terrible. It felt small and the ceiling was low. There was mold in the bathroom, the shower made loud noises and the toilet barely flushed. There were 3 lamps but none of the ceiling lights worked. Zero view of the water, even being at the 7th floor in a corner room. The balcony was a joke. The glass door didn’t lock. After one night, I asked to move due to the noise from the port and the construction next door. The staff was very kind about it. My room was moved to a lower floor but further from the noise.     Weard credit card transactions !

    We were 3 Danish Nationals checking in together and all of our cards were closed by 3 different banks after having paid our security deposit at the reception.Hotel manager could not help up with a complementary phone call to our banks in Denmark.     Good hotel at the edge of downtown

    The hotel is in a 15 storey building between the World Trade Center and the I-710 ramp. The parking is $25 per day, which is steep. The spacious lobby has a large fountain filled with rubber ducks! Fun for kids.The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in was quick. The room itself was on the back of the building but had great views of LA. Room was big with a King bed, which was very comfortable and a large bathroom. Every floor is decorated by a staff member and it's fine to see the fun displays and it adds a personal touch. The pool is outdoor on the 2nd floor and has a cool bar and seating. There's a small gym. The bar and restaurant in the lobby is nice, as is the restaurant on the 2nd floor. The only downside is that it's a longer walk (10-15 minutes) to Pine Avenue or Shoreline Village, but the hotel has a free shuttle on demand. I would highly recommend, as it's a bargain compared to the other hotels in downtown Long Beach.
