Location

The hotel is located in the heart of Santa Monica and is within walking distance of Third Street Promenade, a unique outdoor centre offering an eclectic choice of over 200 restaurants, nightclubs, movie theatres and chic retail outlets. Also within walking distance are kilometres of sandy white beaches like Venice Beach, Malibu Beach and the world-famous Santa Monica Pier. The unbeatable location offers easy access to the Santa Monica Freeway and Southern California's most popular destinations like Rodeo Drive, the Getty Museum, Downtown Los Angeles, Westwood, Melrose Place, Century City, UCLA, Hollywood and Universal Studios. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is just 30 minutes away.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 253 rooms. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (for a fee) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The apartment hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Guests can go for an energising swim at the freshwater pool complex (in part heated). A hot tub invites guests to soothe their muscles, and a poolside snack bar will take care of any hungry bellies. Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Nice renovation

    This hate is right next the 10 freeway and a school on the other side so we sere unsure of whether it would be noisy. We had a suite on the top floor facing away for the freeway and it was quiet. They also did a great job on their renovation; the rooms are modernized with a soft, calm interior. They need more valets for parking, but it worked out eventually. No one in santa Monica that we knew was familiar with he place, but it looks like a keeper. The breakfast in their restaurant is very expensive, so I'd avoid it unless you're on a business trip.     Nice hotel near the beach with large clean quiet rooms.Breakfast could have been better (lacking vegetables and cheeses) otherwise everything good.     What a rip off

    What a rip off. 1) Parking: They charge $59 plus $10.62 tax for parking, so a total of $69.62. I have an electric car and was told in order to charge it I would need a Tesla App. I went down to the garage with the valet...only to find that the WIFI connection was not stable and couldn't hook up to the charger. So I had to leave and go find a charger station. You think the the hotel management would have their act together on something so basic. 2) Dinner was only passable but not worth the $108.00 charge for a 2 course vegetarian meal one person with 2 beers 3) $450 + per night for a room with no view. Summary: I would go out of my way not to stay here. There are properties in the area that provide much more and while expensive you don't feel like you are being robbed. Oh...I should mention...I am a Hilton Diamond Member.     Felt like home!

    Family holiday in LA for 9 days. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a 2 queen set up. Upon request we also had a glimpse of the ocean in the distance which was an added bonus. Reasonably large space, super clean and comfortable, serviced daily by the housekeeping team who really do an amazing job and are happy to work around guest schedules. Loved the collab with Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for the in room coffees as well. There are larger stores (Target, CVS) within 10-15 min walk but the hotel also has a small shop in the lobby. Another thing to mention is that there is a guest laundry room on the third floor ($10 for a wash and dry). Valet / onsite parking is a little pricey but there is a large garage literally across the road with plenty of space (Civic Center Parking Structure - an hourly rate until midnight and $14 for overnight is what we paid). Location is great for a family trip, right next to the I10 freeway to get out to LA or Disney and also adjecent to a Metro Station. Access to the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway route is also nearby. Plenty of cafe’s and restaurants within walking distance, plus Santa Monica Pier. Overall we absolutely loved the hotel.
