  We went for trip to visit friends in Dana Point. The property was nice and location was convenient. The room was definitely big enough with a full kitchen, and parking was appropriate. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We would stay again.

  Garbage! So unhelpful. Very frustrating stay. Will not be back! Checked in over big hr with security and then deactivated our cards in the morning. Couldn’t find anyone to help us get the matter resolved. Don’t stay here! Our front desk operates from 7am-11pm. To better accommodate our guests, we offer a temporary check in option through our overnight security guard who provides a room key to guests arriving after 11pm. However, we understand that we should have informed you that this temporary key automatically expires at 11am the following morning, at which time a formal check-in at the front desk is required. We regret that this was not communicated clearly and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

  We loved it here! Traveled with two adults and two small kids (1 and 3). Like other reviewers have said, it is a little dated. But it's clean and everything worked great. It's in a great location, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The beds are unbelievably comfy. There are multiple pools, a great 'family lounge' area to hang out, ping pong table, etc. The only issue we had was getting portacribs to our room. I called ahead of time to ask that two be in our room when we checked in. We were going to be getting in close to bedtime for our littles. They weren't there when we checked in, so I had to call down and ask, and it was more than an hour before they were brought up. That made us way late getting kids down, but we managed. But they more than made up for it in accommodating a small, mid-stay clean and then answering questions via text after we checked out. Very friendly and helpful!

  Great location for family in-between LA and San Diego. Great family friendly community with nearby food such as Costco and Chick-fil-A as well as some local businesses. We stayed in 2 bedroom suite with 1 king and 1 room with 2 twins for our kids. We didn't have an ocean view but could appreciate the mural on the wall of the ocean on our back patio which also had a grill available. There was a full kitchen and dining area available. 2 pools on-site, 1 with 2 spas and 1 with no spas. The elevator is under renovation but didn't really affect much plus they gave us a $20 credit in hotel marketplace for the inconvenience. Service was excellent, Katie was awesome at check-in and Tommy in concierge gave us lots of tips regarding the area. Overall, great stay and we will be going back!
