    This review is based on a recent four night stay. Good location to the many restaurants and markets on Ventura Blvd. This however does make traffic noise a problem.     Rude Staff, Terrible Mgmt, Room Not Ready at Check-in Time

    Check-in time is at 3 PM. I was there at 4 PM and told my room was not ready. No apologies, no accommodations, no “we will try to do better next time”. They just told me I had to wait. So I sat right in front of the front desk agent and waited. I watched her play on her phone and talk to other people. She even checked in other guests while I was waiting. After another 30 minutes went by — 90 minutes past check-in mind you — I asked the desk clerk if I could check in now. She said, “oh, have you been waiting this whole time?” She literally was the one who told me I had to wait. So I asked to see the manager. This acne- faced guy with a dirty T-shirt on, comes out and again, no apology, no accommodation. He said “hey sometimes housekeeping takes longer than other days, so what”. I said I would like a refund. He said, you booked a nonrefundable room. But go ahead and leave. I said “yeah then you get to keep my money.” He said “yeah that that’s right we will keep your money.” The conversation deteriorated from there. I ended up leaving. I called American Airlines (Aadvantage Hotels), who I had booked the hotel room through, and they refunded my money and apologized to me for the treatment I received. These people are crooks. The manager looks like he eats out of the garbage and then steals out of peoples cars. I wouldn’t book this dump if they gave steak and eggs for breakfast. And believe me, they don’t.     We booked a hotel room three weeks ago and specifically requested two separate beds. We arrived at 8 a.m., and since check-in was at 3 p.m., we just left our luggage and checked in. However, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, we were told that there were no rooms available with two separate beds.We had paid for this, so we asked them to find a solution, but they had nothing available and told us we would have to sleep on the sofa. We requested sheets so we could use the sofa, but they never arrived. Given the condition of the sofa, we couldn’t sleep on it without sheets, so we had to go get them ourselves. The staff at the reception was extremely unpleasant and rude.The receptionist even raised her voice multiple times. So, if you make a reservation here with specific requests, there is no guarantee they will be honored.

    Terrible experience.Horibble service.The front desk guy claiming his the supervisor named Jeff was so unpleasant super rude.Booked the hotel through 3rd party with a different credit card name, Jeff refused to check me in cause I didn't had a c.c with my name I ask for authorization letter he claimed he can't.Then I left to think about a solution I came back and told him my dad can put his C.C and he have his ID but Jeff refused stating I said I don't have any C.C which is true I don't have c.c on my name but my dad have but Jeff refused and I needed to go and find hotel at 11:30 p.m this is not how you treat customers IHG Service, Owner at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Woodland Hills by IHG, responded to this review Hello Roam06093045430,Thanks for choosing IHG Hotels and Resorts for your lodging needs and for sharing feedback.     Great stay in Woodland Hills

    I stayed for 4 nights and the hotel was a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean and with a fridge and microwave which was very useful. There was coffee and tea available 24/7. Breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again.
