It was Ok, but stay on top floor as floors are not sound-proof

Positives:* nice clean pool* clean spacious room* well-located for food shopping, restaurants, metro one block away* felt safe* friendly staffNegatives:* walls/ceiling not well sound-proofed = prevented us from sleeping* Internet breaking all the time* no table & only one chair in a room for a couple; It took till day 2 to advocate for 2nd chair* cheap flat pillows* no hair conditioner provided; so-called "conditioning" shampoo is NOT Ph-balanced

Smells bad, drug use outside

Room smells strongly of heavy duty cleaning products and sticks to your clothes. Bathroom smells like mildew and even the water smells bad (I wouldn't suggest drinking it). There was dirt on the nightstand. The mini fridge and AC unit are cheap and loud and woke us up multiple times. We saw people doing drugs outside the lobby in broad daylight. We heard screaming in the middle of the night. The whole neighborhood is sketchy and that's not the hotel's fault, but they could do a better job of keeping their immediate area clear of drug use. The nice thing is that it's a short walk to Thai Town (amazing food), and you can walk to the park up north. And the staff was friendly, which we appreciated.

not a perfect hotel but....

The room isn't too bad. Their website indicated they offer breakfast, but when I showed up for check-in, they no longer did. The neighborhood is sketchy and filthy. The parking lot is pretty tight and limited. The room was not too bad. Some drug activities were going on in the area, so some of the customers were renting their rooms. At night, there were some people talking too loud at the pool. You can walk to Hollywood Blvd in less than 10 minutes. There are several shops and places to eat nearby. Paramount Tours is only 5 miles from this hotel. Hollywood Forever cemetery is next to Paramount Tours. Hope this helps.

Found this little hotel and I have stayed a couple of times now, all LA landmarks are near the hotel, there’s a metro station just a block away and places to eat, it’s clean and very convenient. The housekeeping lady is super sweet and nice person.Highly recommended 🙌🏻

Cute motel in a bad area

Very cute motel, we were happy with the service and the cleanliness and the pool. The biggest disappointment was the area around it, Hollywood as a whole is basically a homeless campsite these days, and walking to the Walk of Fame was not a pleasant experience. That said, the hotel (although pricey) met our expectations.
