    Management saved the day!

    Our two night trip was booked into a tiny room that was billed as a High Floor room, but the room's only window faced a wall! The room was much too small for two people and felt horribly claustrophobic, and while looking for the room's only electrical outlet we discovered trash under the bed! After learning the cost of parking would be $68/night, and shocked by the very expensive prices (with mandatory 20% gratuity) in the cafe, we were ready to depart early.Desk staff Eduardo and Haley got us moved to a bigger room for the second night, and that turned around the entire stay. With this improved room we had the promised fridge and larger King bed and much more space to relax. They even waved the parking fees. Big thanks to Eduardo and Haley!

    Downtown LA Gem We Couldn’t Stay Away From

    We discovered this property at the beginning of March—and loved it so much, we came back just weeks later. It’s quickly become one of our favorite spots in LA.At check-in, Hailey gave us a warm welcome and recognized us as Hyatt Globalists. We were initially upgraded to a Junior Suite, but when we asked about a balcony and city view, she went the extra mile—checking with her manager and even offering to show us multiple options.We landed in the Casa Suite, and it was incredible. Spacious with high ceilings, a full living area, large dining table, kitchenette, and both a primary and guest bathroom. The shared balcony overlooking the pool was a great bonus.Dining was a highlight. We enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Fig (both at the bar and in the dining room), and poolside lunch with tacos and a poke bowl—everything was fresh and delicious.The property has plenty of comfortable spaces to relax or get work done, and the location is ideal—right by LA Live and within walking distance to spots like Grand Central Market, Angels Flight, Grand Park, and The Last Bookstore.Service throughout was excellent—quick, attentive, and thoughtful. Hailey especially stood out for her professionalism and intuition.We’ll definitely be back again soon.

    An Oasis in Downtown LA

    I loved this hotel so much! First off the staff is extremely nice and not pretentious given the cool. chic atmosphere of the hotel. Second the decor is amazing, so cool and trendy but also classic LA. The pool area is a delight! I only ate at the restaurant for breakfast, but it was delicious. An the location is PERFECT if you are going to an event at Crypto or Peacock theater, literally in walking distance!     This is a hidden gem of a hotel with really fabulous staff through out. The food was creative. The location was good and it was very easy to park nearby.
