    Horrible at every turn

    To start. Check in wasn’t until 5pm. What hotel has a 5pm check in? Ridiculous. We had to leave at 4:30 to catch train for an event downtown. We picked this hotel based on proximity to metro line. We Wouldn’t be back until after midnight, the office closes at 11pm. What? So we waited around to check in. The front desk clerk, Rosie, was clearly frazzled. Even though only one other customer was in lobby. Basically yelling at everyone instead of just speaking. Very odd. We were able to check in at 4:00. When Rosie called out “get over here” for us to check in. Just zero manners or customer service skills. Got to our room which matched zero photos on any booking site. What a dump. A bed. Outdoor looking table (totally broken) with one plastic type chair. Horrible bed, you can feel the springs. Live Cockroach in bathroom when husband used bathroom in middle of the night. Not that we would have eaten there but booking ads states breakfast. Ya. No breakfast. The lobby area was full of junk. Tables where breakfast would have been were covered in junk. I’ve stayed in a lot of budget hotels. A little shabby is okay as long as they are clean. This place was falling apart. Filthy. Terrible staff. I mean I cannot say one positive thing about it. They need to Update their listings to reflect what it is. A total dive.

    I had to call department of health because I found cockroaches in the ice bucket where the plastic cups I’m supposed to use for drinking were.I also had to chase a mouse out with a broom from the back of my toilet bowl., outside. They only clean your room twice. The day you arrive and the day you leave.i had to buy my own cleaning materials from Target.Pls look at the pictures I saved while I was there how dirty it was.

    This place is crawling with bugs - literally. Went and bought sheets to use - in no time they were full of bugs. Could not sleep there - bugs were crawling in the bed, up the walls, in my purse. No way to stay there - front desk is no help. Left and went to a different hotel.

    No refund after not letting my son check in

    My son was to stay here and I had pre-paid for the room. They refused to let him check in because he didn’t have the credit card. I got on the phone and offered to give them the information. The manager was extremely rude. They were so mean to my son, who suffers from a traumatic brain injury, he left crying. It was New Year’s weekend and there was nothing available nearby. It was pouring rain. I called several times and the manager refused to issue me a refund. Do not stay here! It is also in a dangerous area!

    Arrived at the hotel to be surprised that I had to leave a $100 deposit. Paid for the room and quickly discovered that the pictures advertised must have been for a totally different property because this room was fitly dirty, had ripped chairs, mold and rust in the bathroom, and no working AC or TV. I immediately went down to the front desk where I was told "You bought the room for 2 nights, it's not refundable." I asked to be relocated to a clean room and was then told" That would be an additional room charge." I slept on top of the bed and kept my clothes on. Was awoken at 1:00 AM to a man screaming for about 40 minutes. Called the front desk, but discovered they CLOSE and go home so there is no one to complain to. I left a 6 am and returned at about 11 pm, and after trying to get through a parking lot where there were all sorts of "deals" going on, raced to the room. Another fight occurred between a man and a woman, and as quick as it was safe to leave, I was gone. NEVER STAY HERE. IT IS A NIGHTMARE. The manager Richard promised to refund the 2-night deposit and claimed all this filth and all these unwelcomed vagrants has been since Covid and he cannot get help. That is not an excuse to show rooms from 5 years ago. It is no excuse to find bugs in your room. It is no excuse not to be there when guests need you. This should be shut down and I have made a complaint with the Better Business Bureu.
