    I had an excellent experience from start to finish. Jorge, the Director of Operations, went above and beyond to personally assist with booking six rooms prior to our arrival, which made the process seamless and stress-free.     There was no easy way to pull up in front to drop off bags- have to wait for a parking space to become available. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. (View of parking structure across the street).We arrived on Sunday and in the evening there was a loud overcrowded party with dj at rooftop pool bar of people who were not necessarily hotel guests. We then found a different outdoor space next to the lobby to sit at which was pleasant (had to ask twice for fire pit to be turned on).One of two elevators were working and the wait was long especially with the party going on.The next day we went able to take advantage of the pool which was nice and empty.Located within shopping center and close to waterfront walking path but a bit far from some of the better dining options.     Right in the Long Beach Action

    We showed up early and they upgraded our room and checked us in so smoothly and professionally. For those that want to be right in the middle of the action at Long Beach this is a clean, well-kept above average spot to stay. Rooftop pool was a little tired as was the fitness center, but the cafe and the rooms were above class for other Hyatt’s in this bracket.     Quick stay at the Hyatt Centric Long Beach. Loved the maritime theme of the hotel, seeing the photos of Long Beach, and the history within the hotel. The staff was prompt and attentive. Breakfast was great. Wish we had more time to stay longer, but we had a boat to catch early to Catalina.
