    This was my first reservation at Hyatt Place. The coffee/tea bar available at walk in was an excellent perk. The hotel’s short walk to the Galleria is plus. The staff is so friendly. Our room was above other hotel chains especially the bathroom; multiple towel/clothes hooks.We are definitely going back.

    Great welcoming staff, great location, the breakfast was good. My neighbors were a little noisy but this wasn't the hotels fault. I will definitely stay here again.

    Good Services, But Could be Better

    Staffs were very friendly. Room was pretty spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is pretty good as well.However, there are some parts are less enjoyable.Parking can be an issue. Valet parking is fine. However, because it is offsite, it will take a while for the car to show up. This is not something the hotel can improve.The free breakfast is not that great. It does have a good selection of drinks with coffee, various types of milks and fruit juices.There are no USB / USB-C charging ports from wall outlets and there are not that many wall outlets bedside. I did bring a power strip and a number of charging bricks. However, if you have a number of things to charge, it can be an issue.     We only stayed one night. Wasn’t able to check in early. Never got the text our room was ready, tried to call, no one picked up. Didn’t ask if we had a car, valet is expensive. Room was standard Hyatt Place. Bed was comfy, wifi worked fine. Shower pressure was good. Did get woken up from other guests around 4-5am. I think breakfast is only for Hyatt members now, however you aren't missing out on much, it was very bland.
