The hotel is located 1 km from John Wayne Airport in central Orange County and close to the business districts of Irvine, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach, and also near to many area attractions such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.

Facility

335 rooms, including 4 suites, 198 single rooms and 122 double rooms, are available to guests in a 7-storey main building and a 10-storey auxiliary building. Check-in and check-out are possible at any time at the reception desk. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car.     Newport stay perfect spot for us near Newport dunes. Our family was camping there so we stayed right up the street. Pool was hearted so that was great for our young girls in the morning. 12pm check out was really nice we had time to eat, swim and shower before leaving.     Disappointed experience at this hotel. Looks great on terms of decor and room but needs update o.n customer service

    Need better customer service especially at the front desk. Did not feel like we are valued guests especially with our WOH tier. Have to tell them we are Globalists so we can get info on the complimentary breakfast and then when we checked out the bill for the breakfast was still there, I had to call to have it removed.Slow check in process - standing for 30-45mins to check in. The front desk staff can use some friendliness classes. The staff at the Wave was great. They were polite and attentive.
