The property is located in the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles on the corner of Hill Street and 2nd Street. It is in the heart of it all, just blocks away from Disney Concert Hall and Music Center. The property is central to many of L.A.'s finest cultural offerings.

Facility

The hotel has 116 rooms, including a suite and 3 single rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. A fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station, as well as a complete set of utensils, is a standard feature. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

    We booked the hotel for its location and price and were pleased with the overall experience. We arrived by train and the hotel is only one subway station away and a short walk to the hotel. The lobby is well appointed and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. And, just about everything of interest in DTLA is a short walk from the hotel, or a short subway ride.The room is small, but my wife and I didn't feel cramped. And let's get real, you go to DTLA to spend time enjoying all it has to offer, and not to spend a lot of time in your hotel room. If you are there for business, there is a nice work area in the room. The beds were great, the shower a bit touchy, but we had great showers. The only negative about the room was the AC. The room was hot, and the AC worked great, but it was so noisy we couldn't sleep with it on. It was a warm night, but we were able to sleep.The room had an electric kettle, not one of those silly Keurig type of coffee/tea/hot chocolate machines, and they had a nice supply of teas and coffee. You could make a cup of noodles to eat, but not sure why one would as great ramen can be found in the area.     Great hotel for the budget travellers.

    The hotel room is neat, valet parking is great, no additional charge even we picked it up late on the date of check out. Great location, walking distance to a lot of attractions and a few steps away from Grand Central Market. The staff are friendly and helpful. Will use this hotel whenever I go back to LA.     Hotel has no customer parking only offside valet for $40. I had court date next door at the federal building only to fing our that there's no free parking on site or offside. Be careful third party websites represent parking like priceline. Also no manager was on-site and the clerk was rude and very unhelpful. They ruined my day, I had to find a nearby hotel with parking. They refuse to cancel the reservation. Theres homeless people in lobby... I just recommend NOT to stay here. Marriott is right down the street and they have parking and charge less!!!     Wonderful Hotel

    This is a wonderful hotel in a great location for a budget price. The inside of the hotel and rooms look like they were recently renovated. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage to this hotel (and all downtown LA hotels) is parking. There is an extra charge for parking which can run $25 here, and some other hotels charge even more. There is a coffee/tea maker in the hotel room, but other than that, no breakfast is provided. However, there are many places to eat breakfast nearby.
