Rooms

The pleasantly heated water of the outdoor pool area guarantees comfortable swimming. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar.     I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in all kinds of properties around the world. I've had white glove service in palaces and sleek stays in big city high rise properties and out of all of them this is the most memorable. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The food and drinks were all on point. That is all expected to be a given. What makes this hotel so special are the staff. I have never had such an above and beyond staff experience. Carlos at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible stay. Actively working to make sure our experience was upgraded whenever possible. And the personal touches he added with gifts and welcomes in the room along with his general warmth and conversation had my husband and I pinching ourselves.We spoke with the General Manager Ryan Parker about how positive our experience was and he shared that when he hires he looks for people that check all of the boxes you would normally expect at a hotel but that also go beyond that to offer personally inspired, unique and warm touches that truly set this property apart. I hope you are lucky enough to have Carlos check you in.I cannot tell you what an above and beyond team member you have in him. I spoke with Carlos before I arrived with a question about combining two reservations. Already on the phone he was helpful, funny, charismatic and efficient. He remembered our call at check in and we hit it off and apparently decided to make my day. As Diamond members there are already perks but he maximized the experience. He made sure we had a fabulous suite upgrade and a bottle of wine. We loved our room but the next morning he pulled me aside and asked if I would be willing to move. He had a further upgrade available that night, an even more premium suite had come available, and wanted us to enjoy it. I agreed and expected that to be that. I arrived later that afternoon into a stunning huge room with a bottle of champagne, a gift box of macaroons and photos of me & my husband from my public Instagram printed & laid out with a welcome. Wow! Carlos made me a forever client. Unforgettable!!!     Business Meetings at The Kimpton

    Just had our company meeting here & it was so great! Marko & Lucas on the events team were amazing to work with, super responsive and went above and beyond for us. We were in the Drawing Room and it was beautiful & the perfect setup for our group. We catered breakfast in the room and it was such a hit! The team stayed overnight too and the rooms were so nice. The whole vibe of the hotel is great, modern but still cozy, with all that fun West Hollywood energy right outside. Thanks Marko, Lucas & the whole team for making our company event a huge success!     Good but could be better

    This is a very cool hotel and the staff are wonderful. The hotel is well appointed and in a great location. We had a couple of concerns that did diminish our experience, namely that in the elevator and in areas near the elevator it smelled like sewage, like really bad. We also found the shower to be low pressure and the service in the restaurant for breakfast to be slow. I would still consider staying there again as these are not major problems.     We had an amazing stay at the Kimpton La Peer. We celebrated my 40th birthday with friends by the pool. The drinks fromNo Rose Bar were EXCELLENT. The food was delicious (the chicken shawarma bowl was my fav but honestly hard to choose just one.) And the pool was chock full of very attractive men. The location also couldn’t be better. We walked down the street and had our choice of so many bars and restaurants. Our room was so nice and spotless. Bed was just the right amount of firm. And the bathtub was the perfect way to end the day. Honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say. Book now. You won’t be disappointed.     Went out for the night in W Hollywood and stayed at La Peer. Hotel was great but the people were even better. The front desk was manned by Dennis who repeatedly went out of his way to make me and my friend’s stay unforgettable. The manager, Eric, also went above and beyond in welcoming us. I will definitely be returning to La Peer Hotel.
