    All I can say is I echo 'funintheair's' review from last fall (scroll down and read that one, too). I love the LQ in Paso Robles but I've learned not all LQs are the same. We were traveling with our little dogs and were put in a subterranean room. Our window looked out to the parking lot at ground level. My husband and I were laughing, as it reminded us of the show Laverne & Shirley . "I'm waiting for Lenny & Squiggy to climb in through the window". The whole place just seemed so tired. The entry was refreshed, as was the room...but the whole place had that " putting lipstick on a pig" feel. For my purposes, it was fine and for the price, I'd probably stay there again because I am not in the room all day...only to sleep. But my poor husband. I convinced him to come on this trip because I've had such good experiences at the La Quinta in Paso Robles. "There's a hot tub, and you can relax." Husband loves hot tubs. Well, the hot tub was cold and he only found out by getting in. It was not fixed during our stay. So, if you don't mind the tired, sort of depressing look, you can't beat the price for the area as it was pretty clean, near the freeway and has breakfast. Unlike funintheair, I experienced a full breakfasat with their signature waffles, eggs, sausage/bacon.     Visit was ok. Bathroom could have been cleaner. There was hair and other dirt in the tub. Also, bathroom sink drain drains slow.
