    The hotel's pool area was an oasis of tranquility, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing, with comfortable loungers and a beautiful setting. We spent many relaxing hours by the pool, enjoying the serene environment and excellent service.

    a disaster. it recently sold and now a major construction site, music blaring by the workers...and the courtyard, terrible toxic glue smell, they should NOT be taking reservations. the old owners were so nice. I would caution you to be very careful about booking here, call and ask if work is done

    This motel was an excellent, clean, quiet option for a quick overnight in LA that didn't break the bank. The room was very comfortable. I am also so grateful to Arpan, the manager, who discovered that I had left my Apple watch plugged in. He immediately called me to see if I was still in town. I wasn't, but he shipped it to me. He could not have been nicer about it, which is not so common in this kind of situation. Thank you for the excellent service and great option for my next LA trip.

    Booked a room at Bevonshire Lodge last minute after arriving in LA, it was one of the cheapest options available and available at the last minute. Is it a little bit dated? Yes. Is it in a clean, safe area? Yes. Is it up to 5 star standard? Of course not, but the sheets were clean and maid service came in daily. I’ve also seen a couple of reviews about the man who works on reception being rude etc - in my experience he was really helpful and pleasant, I locked myself out of my room a couple of times, he gave me spare keys, the toilet was blocked, it was fixed straight away - he let me check out a little late and even stored my baggage (there’s no official storage facility) for me whilst I ran around doing a couple of things last minute before I left.If you want basic and budget friendly in a decent area (quick to walk to the grove, plenty places around) then you’ll be fine here.
