  We stayed at the Portofino Inn Burbank for a few nights and came away with a mixed impression. To be fair, it is exactly what it appears to be—a roadside motel—and it’s upfront about that. It was clean, and the mattress was indeed a step up from what you might expect at this price point.That said, it promotes itself as a slightly elevated experience with touches like quality bedding, breakfast, and added comforts. In our experience, that didn’t consistently come through. The internet was down for our entire stay, which was a real inconvenience. The towels were extremely thin (closer to hand towels than bath towels), and there was a film production happening on two of the three nights, with noticeable noise throughout the night.To their credit, the staff was gracious and apologetic throughout—genuinely so—but the issues still impacted the stay.Bottom line: if you’re looking for a clean, basic place in Burbank, this can work. But I’d suggest calling ahead to confirm the internet is functioning and checking whether any filming or unusual activity is scheduled during your stay.

  Very comfortable, quiet, and clean. I booked this hotel sight unseen and I was pleasantly surprised. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge, plus lots of storage for longer trips to put your luggage and clothes. The bathroom could have used a brighter light, but the vanity area was large and convenient for two people to get ready at once. The wifi worked perfect. If you are headed to the airport or Disney studios, this is a convenient location. We felt safe and secure, even though this was just off the highway a bit. I was also surprised when we went for our free breakfast and realized the restaurant next door was used for filming. I asked the owner about that and he told me about the history of the place and also let me in to look around and take pics, so I got a great free "tour" of a landmark piece of Hollywood history. Would book again.

  A traditional style motel, the staff were very welcoming and had lots of advice.There is a diner on site that is now closed to public, but used for filming which was interesting.The room as stated by others was a little tired, but spotlessly clean.Fridge, large TV, comfy bed. Unfortunately no safe though, which I would have preferred. Free parking on site and free continental breakfast. No coffee making facilities in your room, but Free coffee/Tea all day in the reception. Area seems pretty safe and a good base location if you have a car.

  This charming, classic-style motel offers everything you need as a base for exploring the Burbank, Hollywood areas of LA. Although the decor in the rooms is ‘tired’, they are spotless - the team work tirelessly keeping it this way. Even the parking area is swept daily. Alongside the reception office is ‘Frank’s’, a former cafe that is now hired by film companies regularly. We were lucky enough to see the filming of a commercial when we stayed. Breakfast is included - toast, cereal, bagels, cheese, jam, coffee, fruit juices, multiple teas, hot chocolate, yogurt and fruit. The best part of staying here is the friendliness of all the staff. Really, nothing was too much bother. They exemplify the best of hospitality.

  Warning to future guests.I stayed at Quality Inn Burbank Airport on June 29, 2025. During my stay, I discovered that personal items had gone missing from my room. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, the manager — Alfredo — responded aggressively, accused me of trying to scam the hotel, and showed no willingness to investigate or assist.His confrontational behavior and lack of professionalism were deeply unsettling. I felt unsafe and disrespected, and as a result, I was forced to contact the Burbank Police Department and file a report.No guest should have to go through such an experience. I strongly urge Booking.com and the hotel ownership to investigate this situation and take appropriate action.
