  This has been my worst stay yet. I was constantly getting woken up through out the night , people knocking on my door, yelling, banging on the walls. Not to mention my car alarm kept going off and there was this alert box on my wall that went off at 5 am and I woke up panicking every night. The ceiling over the bed was leaking and the knob in the tub was extremely difficult to use as it would spin non stop so I couldn’t get it to come out warm. Not to mention I could smell the cigarettes from the people living there in the other rooms. To finish it off the breakfast is horrible DO NOT EAT IT. I saw a lady coming out with a trash back leaking some king of liquid And it turned out to be the egg they used EWWW.!!!!!NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN.

  I wouldn't book here Stay AWAY..I used hotels.com to book they are terrible as well don't book them them as they don't fix or solve problems. This hotel I booked 2 queen beds he gave he 2 double beds...also charged my card I'm addition to already paying fully online before stay 100 bucks which they say is typically 300 but that he is charing 100 and it takes 10 days to return to your card/bank...would have been nice to know that before staying here. The Middle Eastern Indian guy was rude and disrespectful and then when I tell him he is being rude the guy argues with me Who DOES that right that cares about the business or company, worst service. I will never stay here again and do yourself a favor spend 160 dollars else where trust me many other better hotels that actually care about your service and keeping you as a customer.

  THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY EVEN IF CANCELED 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE

  My Company booked a 14-night stay through the website. Our stay was supposed to be from 5/13/19 to 5/27/19. My son went into the emergency room on May 6th, and remained there until the afternoon of the 9th, (flight was scheduled for May 10th at 5:30am). When I called to cancel on May 7th, (almost a week before) I was informed that I could not cancel my reservation and my credit card had already been charged ($1,515.95). At no time during the reservation process was there anything stating that I would not be able to cancel. The cancellation policy reads “We have a 24 Hours cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel. You must do so by 3 PM 24 hours or 1 day prior to your arrival date. If you cancel or modify post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for a FULL NIGHT plus taxes and fee” .I requested to speak with the a manager. AJ (Manager for Quality Inn Downey), who transferred me to Mike Shalizi (Director of Operation for this hotel and Comfort Inn in Huntington Beach). Mr. Shalizi requested evidence to support my emergency. The hospital report was sent to him on May 9th. After many calls and emails, Mr. Shalizi stated that “…looked at the documents you sent unfortunately I won’t be able to accept this…”. After this I called Mr. Shelizi’s Supervisor Mr. Sachen, left many messages, finally on May 22nd, I was able to talk to him. In a nice way I tried to explain the situation. Mr. Sachen was extremely rude, and told me that IT WAS NOT HIS PROBEM and hung up the phone on me. Since then I have been calling Mr. Shalizi with no response.

  Stopped at this hotel for 1 night only as were traveling. Its a decent stay with a great bed and did the job. There's a McDonalds, shopping center all walking distance. Good stay for those who want a great hotel for 1 night.

  Located off very busy Firestone Blvd. near the intersection of the 5 and 605 Freeways. Many eateries and shopping within a short, safe walk. Since hotel is on the south side of Firestone, if you approach from either of the above freeways you will have to make a u-turn at Woodruff Avenue - the light here is VERY long waiting for a left / u-turn arrow. Anyway, the hotel is an old-style motor inn with limited, tight parking and outside entrances to the room. Check-in was slow as the clerk's English was minimal. My 3rd floor room was small, mostly clean, somewhat dated. Faint cigarette smoke smell but not overpowering. The bed was a little soft for my taste. The AC unit was archaic but worked OK. I slept fairly well, no express check-out so had to stop by front desk in the morning. Decent place, but many other options not far away for the same or better price.
