This newly renovated luxurious hotel is situated in the beautiful city of Newport Beach, around 1.6 km from John Wayne airport, some 8 km from the beach and approximately 24 km from the Disney Resort.

Facility

444 rooms and 50 suites are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms. Nice hotel but no shuttle!

This claims to be an airport hotel. However the shuttle bus does not run before 630am. This is a west coast airport with many early flights and there were many people waiting for Ubers at 510am because there was no shuttle. Best spot for SNA Airport Parking

This is a review for the airport parking service. We were dropped off and picked up by very friendly staff and it was a quick and efficient process. I want to call out one person who went above and beyond, Tristan. He was great, he picked us up after hours and was super friendly for the short drive back to our car. Once we arrived he helped put our bags in our car which was waiting up front. Highly recommend this airport parking. Well it is an airport hotel after all

Ok I want to be clear this poor review has zero to do with the staff. The staff was amazing!!!! Food was pretty good too. Now, the rooms, geez. I couldn’t believe how basic they were, literally as imaginative as a holiday inn express. The bathrooms had zero modernity or sexiness. I know it’s a Marriott but for these prices I was shocked how blah the rooms are. 100% fine for corporate seminars and stays. Itll be exactly like some airport hotel in Topeka, sorry Topeka. Comfortable Stay Near SNA, Though Limited Elite Benefits

I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both brand standards and my personal experiences.I stayed at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel due to its proximity to John Wayne Airport and for business meetings in the area. The location is convenient and offers easy access to the airport, yet I experienced no aircraft noise during my stay.The room itself was nice and comfortable, with a well-appointed layout and a very comfortable bed. Overall, the accommodations met expectations for the Renaissance brand.As a Titanium Elite member, I was recognized at check-in, though I did not receive a room upgrade. There is no concierge or executive lounge at this property, which limits elite benefits. After asking, I was provided with breakfast vouchers; however, the restaurant does not open until 6:30 a.m., which was unfortunately too late for me to have breakfast and still leave for the office on time. For business travelers with early starts, this may be something to consider.Overall, this is a solid and comfortable hotel near SNA with quiet rooms and a good location. While elite benefits were somewhat limited and breakfast timing was inconvenient for an early departure, I would consider staying here again when working in the area.
