    Extensive mold in rooms, run down, corrosion

    The first room we were put in smelled musty, there was active black mold spores growing in the vents in plain view and dark staining surrounding the vents. Bathroom fixtures were green and corroded. Furnishing and lamps were stained and dilapidated. We asked to switch rooms and encountered the same issues. We were in shock a hotel is allowed to operate in this condition. We had no choice but to leave the first night, even though we originally planned to stay a week. To make matters worse despite my allergies being horrible due to the large amount of mold I was not given a full refund.

    First, the good news. Love the location. Hotel is located next to a center with restaurants, grocery store and more and is a short walk away. On our recent stay in June they were waaayyy overbooked. Guests there for weddings, Youth soccer etc. Upon check-in, the short woman at the desk was quite rattled and explained “room not ready” which was ok (we are patient) but not handled in a professional manner. As written by others the hotel needs work…painting/remodel. The staff at breakfast are excellent and keep the area clean and well stocked.

    Check in was seamless. The rooms spacious and clean. The breakfast was outstanding. Bags of ice available at the desk. Pool clean and was enjoyed! And the fire pit was so great to sit by at night!! Walkable to grocery store, Target, restaurant Islands, and anything else you desire. Can’t wait to come back!!

    Loved this place extended out stay home away from home. Comfortable having full kitchen was great. Close to shops and restaurants. My husband and i are from Australia It was lovely to feel a home away from home experience. Would stay again. Would recommend 5 stars

    I only gave this dump a 1 because it was the lowest available.To begin, our checkin was handled by a very nice young man. The only pleasant front desk person of the week.After that it was down hill.First room, dark, dingy, with unwelcome guests in the kitchen - antsWe were moved to another room that was a little brighter that appeared to have attempted to put lipstick on a pig.The room was run down, rust in the bathtub, water stains on the wall, mildew in the corners.Stairs going down were coming loose and is a fall hazard.No room service for the entire time we were there even though we asked 3 times in one day for fresh towels, coffee, and trash to be emptied. The third time we were told to come pick them up (9:00pm)I refused to eat in their dining room.On our last full day the water in our building was off from at least 11:00 am until I left at 2:00 to take a shower at my sons.Why didn’t we check out? It was Christmas week.Note - we stayed here many times in the past and it was lovely, I read it was purchased by a group.
