    An amazing stay in Temecula! First time in Temecula and this location is amazing - there is a Walmart/Sam's Club nearby. BUT THE BEST - the service is amazing. We interacted with Marlene, Sky(lar) and they took care of us! We will absolutely stay here again when we return!

    They don't have tray for dirty silverware and people don't know where to leave the dirty silverware and end up mixing with the clean silverware and i got one dirty from the clean and i got sick People leave dirty silverware on top of clean tables and the employees just pick them up without cleaning the tables and all bacterias stays on the tables also sofa very old falling a part I don't recommend this place unless the fda - Food and drugs administration check this place Marlene Altieri, General Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott Temecula Murrieta, responded to this review Greetings, On behalf of our team we thank you for choosing to stay with us during your travel.     This hotel deserved -1 rating and not 1.I was going to stay at the hotel for 3 nights during a vacation in Nov'25. I checked in late in the evening. The room condition was below par - old and dirty bathroom and stains on the furniture. The room had musty smell and the air condition was not doing much. Then I noticed that the stove was not working. 30 minutes after calling housekeeping someone came and fixed it. There was an issue with the power.Later, when my daughter went for a shower and she complained of cold water. I thought that she was being fuzzy and ignored it. The sofa was dirty and the mattress was sagging but not unbearable. In the morning, when I noticed that the water was still cold, now very cold, I called up housekeeping and then the front desk. I was shocked to hear that they knew that the water heater for the entire hotel was not working from the previous afternoon. Nobody told us when we checked in. When I asked when it would get fixed, I was told that they don't know when it will be fixed and that I was free to check out and find another hotel on my own, but I needed to tell them at that time. The front desk lady also told me that if I continue to stay then there will be no guarantee that hot water heater will be available. I had to find out another hotel as I could not be without hot water. I asked if I could have the hotel breakfast although I was checking out, luckly the lady said yes. The breakfast was sub-par. Only thing good was fresh apples and bananas. Coffee was bad. When I asked would the hotel charge me for for fault of their own, I was told that they will try but no guarantee. They wanted to charge full price for providing cold water and not telling until you complain. Never stay at this place. It is old and unclean as well. The hotel does not tell you about the problems that they already know. Residence Inn management does care.I stayed at Embassy Suites later and the experience was A+.     Please seek out another Marriott property. Not up to standards.

    First and foremost, we have been loyal Marriott customers for more than 20 years. We have stayed in our fair share of Marriott properties throughout the world (we have been Titanium members for the last 10 years). However, The Residence Inn at Temecula is not up to the Marriott standards in terms of cleanliness, service and customer-focused detail that we have been accustomed to with Marriott properties over the years. We had to change rooms 2 times because of the odor and our toilet was back up as well. Housekeeping, what a joke! Additionally, The staff is not empowered to even authorize complimentary water! Never, before have we experienced this.Please, check before you book your room! It may not be what you think other Marriott properties’ experiences are. My advice: find another property!     We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Murrietta-Temecula for the weekend. We had a few concerns with the room and Dana Williams, Assistant GM, was quite professional and showed a willingness to correct the issues as well as provide a solution that made my wife happy. The hotel is in close proximity to Old Town and about 15 minutes to the wineries. We look forward to returning in the near future to see if the improvements we discussed with Dana are implemented as well as enjoy Temecula and its hiking, wineries and Old town. Recommended
