  Found bugs inside bathroom pool is very nasty has garbage inside the book and glass people next to us are very disrespectful.DO NOT STAY HERE. Manager was hitting on my mom.   Worst hotel experience ever!!!!

  I checked in 1/6/25 @ around 11:30 pm. Very exhausted, after driving the whole day & night from Van Horn, Tx. to Castaic. The placed appeared very suspect. Police activity near by. The first room I checked into actually smelled like a sewer, no wash cloths, TV did not work. 2nd room smelled of weed & cigarettes, TV did not work as well, and no washcloths once again. 3rd room. I like what's the deal with no washcloths, filthy cleaning rag was dresser, bottle of some type of cleaning solution left on the sink counter. I made the desk manager aware of everything. Never received any washcloths, so I just gave up. Just to tired. Used a larger hand towel to bathe the next morning. In my opinion, the local health Dept. should come to check this place out!!!   Where does one start?My hotel was in the middle of a truck stop. Seriously, 100s of trucks came and went through the night.Parked my car and there was several groups of people in the car park that looked scary and intimidating.I walked I to the hotel and the stench hits me in the back of my throat. It was horrible. There were a group of children about 10-15 years old playing a card game for cash.I asked the receptionist for a cancellation so I could go elsewhere. I was told they don’t make refunds and I would lose the money. I don’t have another £1224 to waste .The room stunk of cigarettes smoke despite the fact I specifically asked for a non smoking room, there was the same stench in the air that made me gag. The shower dripped, the toilet didn’t flush.Bed cover looked greasy and when I pulled it back there was droplets of blood on bed sheet. Vomit inducing stuff.I had driven from Bournemouth to Heathrow and flew to LA. Car hire is a joke and took for ever to find the hotel as it didn’t have a sign outside. I spread my holiday clothes on the bed in order to be able to sleep.By 1 am, the overcrowded hotel which I have later learned it was a holding centre for immigrants. Lovely. People were drunk and fighting while children ran screaming outside my room.I was scared.At 06:00, work started on the building site outside my window (which was screwed shut) there were trucks dropping building materials, forklifts and people hammering.The BREAKFAST is weak coffee and cornflakes. AgainSpoke to receptionist, would not give contact details of management, nor cancel or refund.I was stuck.I have video, photos and audio evidence of my 19days ordeal.Algotel, replied with a no reply email fobbing me off.   Disgusting. Terrible customer service. Loud men playing dominos all night that live here. Screaming at each other in their language. Arguing, drinking, gambling going on downstairs taking up half the parking spots with the hotel furniture.   Room was clean, water pressure kinda low for the shower, but no other issues. It's good that they provide wifi/ free breakfast and decent TV channels. Parking is adequate, wasn't noisy. Big rig truck traffic in the area is heavy, not the fault of the hotel.
