  Room 400 full of roaches - Go here if you don't mind sharing the bed with roaches and getting your belongings infested

  The room was completely infested with cockroaches.When I got to the hotel, they asked me to wait for 15 minutes the time that they make a room available for me. Once i got into the room, there was a strong smell of chemicals as though someone tried to disinfect the place.I first noticed on wall that there were dead roaches probably from someone who stayed there, and kills a few, and the cleaner didn't notice them.I had to open the windows to let the chemical smell come out, then I proceeded to settle down. I turned off the lights and started working on my computer, and within an hour, roaches started climbing all over me. At first I didn't think they were bugs, so I just brushed them off.. when I realized what it was, i jumped out of the bed and turned the light on.The floor was completely covered with bugs. I put my feet in my shoes only to realize that my shoes too had been infested with roaches. I mean when I say the floor was covered, it's not an understatement. It was covered with roaches. When turned the light on, most of them ran to hide under the bed, and the mini fridge that was on the side.I got out of there and went to the reception to tell them I couldn't sleep in there. They told me they would speak with their owner and refund me the payment.Well, I just got off the phone with one of the receptionists for the n-th time, and as the other ones said 4 days ago, they need to talk to their owner to reimburse what they charged me, and I just got yelled at, and told that if I spent more than 5 hours in the room, no matter what happened in there, they wouldn’t reimburse me. that they will check the cameras to see how long i stayed before they make a decision.Needless to say that I will find a way to report this to health services. So they'd better remodel their hotel before an inspection is performed in the coming days. It just may cost them more than the $120 they keep giving me the run around with.

  Please do not book this hotel. Some friends and I booked this place for 5 nights. Then after reading the reviews we decided to cancel our booking, as the reviews were terrifying! On the Stuart Hotel website it says “free cancellation” next to the room type we booked, however we couldn’t even get a response from the owners regarding our $700 refund. This place is just out to rip people off. I wish I could give zero stars.

  It was the worst experience I had with a hotel in my life. The photos are fake and much different then the reality. The room was cleaned only superficially, there was hair on the bed and in the shower, the window was broken, our fire alarm was hanging by a wire from the ceiling. There was trash in the elevator and on the hallway, very dirty inside and outside of the hotel. The price is way too high for what it offers. Do not book here. Was a horrible experience, never felt so unsafe in my life,I had to change the hotel after 1 hour and they charged me for the first night anyways.

  Best bang for your buck!! As they say... The rooms are pretty big All with a very helpful front desk staff! Maria was amazing at making a short notice trip come together without the usually dramas of these things! Thank you Stuart Hotel! Thank you Maria! Especially for making my arrival go as smoothly as you did!

  WARNING - JUNKIES AND GIGILOS DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER STAYING AT THE STUART HOTEL - I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH

  We arrived at the hotel and were immediately greeted with a grim sight. A dark, damp and unwelcoming environment. The staff were helpful however. A few minutes later a man wearing tatty and ripped sweatpants and sweatshirt appeared with no shoes on and left the hotel, a minute later he returned to the hotel with what can only be described as a gigilo. The two men then preceded upstairs. We got our room keys and when we asked for 2 more we received them. Soon after we approached the stairs and we took one step on the staircase and heard a man clearly intoxicated, by some heavy drugs, moan and groan. We decided to not take the stairs. We went to the lift and as a group decided we didn’t want to stay in a halfway house filled with junkies and male prostitutes. We soon after got an Uber and left. We were a group of 3 mature men who felt genuinely intimidated, endangered and unsafe in this hotel lobby. To anyone even remotely thinking about staying in the Stuart Hotel I strongly advise you to not to and hope you’ll explore other options.
