    We did a ton of research before booking our hotel for the Disneyland part of our trip. The appeal of a super close hotel was strong, but Suncoast Park looked so much nicer and the rooms bigger, so the decision was made. It did not disappoint. From check in to check out the staff were great, Aliyah helped us out a few times and was always friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was wonderful and the entire hotel is really clean and well maintained. The lobby is gorgeous, with character, and the pool was way better than those belonging to the closer hotels, many of which are small and in the car park! We upgraded to a larger room and it was huge. We really appreciated the extra space at the end of our holiday together with our 17 year old son. We could happily chill during a break from the parks without being on top of each other. We are light sleepers and slept well. I used earplugs (which I use at every hotel) but my family managed fine without. As a side note, the food was good too. I recommend the Balboa turkey club. Don’t let the distance put you off. 0.8 miles is not far when you’ll be walking all over the parks, and it’s less than $10 with tip in an Uber if you can’t face it. You get so much more bang for your buck at Suncoast Park.     I have stayed at over a dozen different properties close to the parks and I’d say this hotel is above average but could improve on a few things. Pros:- 1 and half blocks to the Disney Resort entrance, which makes this walkable.- price was very good with Hilton membership with limited cancellation option.- convenient proximity to Garden Walk for various restaurants.- clean room with plenty of beds, we had 4 people and chose the King bed with sofa bed and trundle bed. - microwave and mini fridge included in the room. Cons: - bathroom needed some attention. The pull knob for the shower was really hard to operate. I left it up our entire stay for 3 nights.- only 1 towel hook inside the tub/shower so with 4 guests I had to hang the other towels on the closet coat hangers and leave them in the closet.- the water pressure was weak and made worse by the shower head that was old and filled with minerals. The above issues were notified to the front desk but no point having them try and fix for our shorter stay. - I was aware they charge 35.00 per night to park but what I didn’t expect was for there to be 3 various taxes on top of that. There was a total of 6.05 per night in State and city tourism as well as occupancy tax for my car that sat parked the entire time and not sure it enjoyed Ca as much. I haven’t seen this as common practice at other properties. All in all a good stay but would I stay again, likely not in the near future.     Good Drink, Good Eats, Clean Rooms & Great Service

    Planned a last minute trip to Disney and wound up at the SunCoast(using my Hilton Honor points). Had a great room on the first floor. Room was a decent size for 5 people and the bed and pillows were very comfy. I had the overall best service at the inside Restaurant/Bar. Sergio D. was a great bartender and server. Helped me with choosing the best items on the menu for my tastes and with all the directions and information I asked of him.     This was the 5th time visiting Disneyland for my birthday and I always book my entire vacation at this hotel great location super clean and wonderful staff , the only downside is the shower water pressure needs an upgrade..
