  Inferior accommodations for the price charged. We were stuck at 1AM after 8 hours of flying to find our pre-paid reservations at a local Ramada Inn were overbooked. Found this one at a much higher price. On arrival the room was spartan with no tissues, very noisy bedframe, noisy refrigerator, TV that needed front desk help every time it was turned on, overnight noise in adjacent rooms and parking lot.   Hidden gem

  My room was on the second floor and had cathedral ceilings. It was much nicer than I expected this to be for the price point. I stayed in the area and other locations and the places were disgusting. This place was the exact opposite friendly staff clean rooms quiet neighborhood.   For the start of Summer, the experience my family and I had during our stay at the Sunset Inn was well-spent and pleasant. More importantly, it was very safe and clean, and the staff / management are very polite and accommodating. The rooms are in good quality condition. The manager, Manisha, is respectful and patient to the needs of my family and I, and is very respectful. The rest of the staff shows a lot of courtesy and decency. Robert, the overnight guy, keeps the property safe overnight, and makes the property feel very safe and very protected. We also like the fact that the property is in close proximity to the beach and to major grocery stores. We appreciate them a lot! - Tracy

  This property has great service, the owners / managers are patient and understanding and accommodating. My family and I can't say more about our experience with this property. Everything - from the housekeeping and staff is respectful, and it's more importantly one of the lowest cost options if you're from out-of-town or looking for a place to stay.

  The room had roaches and smelled weird. The front person was a rude disrespectful person and told me to f off. Who does that. Class action lawsuit soon. I chose Costa Mesa because I thought it would have been a better experience but it was worst than the ghetto. Thank god I chose a method of payment that I could easily get a refund!!!!!!
