    Shanny, Ken and Natalia are AMAZING! We love it here. The ambience, location, customer service, right on the water. Don’t waste your time staying anywhere else is Laguna beach it’s a beautiful must experience resort! Rooms are gorgeous.

    Beautiful location right on the beach. Hotel is luxurious and rooms are deluxe, most of which are right on the beach overlooking the Pacific. My only complaint is the pool area chaise lounges: If you don't get up early and stake out your chair, you're just out of luck, as the chairs go fast. Staff are friendly and eager to help make your stay as wonderful as possible.

    My husband and I stayed at Surf & Sand Resort Laguna Beach this past weekend after I grew up taking family trips to this beautiful town growing up. The location is a little removed from the busiest beach areas, which we actually liked, and the rooms have been nicely updated. We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a bellman available to help us. We’re used to a more personal greeting from the bellman who are the first people you meet when you arrive and gives the hotel a chance to start your experience on a positive welcoming note. The room had some great tech features, but we ran into a few issues like rough/sandpaper sheets, inconsistent AC, uncomfortable pillows, and quite a bit of noise from PCH (like being front row at the Indy500), barking dogs in the middle of the night, hallway light coming into the room, and loud people on the beach. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d definitely recommend asking for a quieter room or maybe looking at a hotel farther from PCH.We were hoping to be “wow’d” like the staff mentioned when we booked, but unfortunately it just didn’t quite feel like a wow experience for us, and we checked a day early.

    I can’t recommend this hotel enough! From the moment we walked into our ocean front corner room and the automatic blinds rose up as we entered the room, we knew this place was special. We literally felt like we were floating over the water. The service from each person we interacted with was top notch. We did not get an opportunity to use the spa this time but we will be back for that!
