    The rates are low because the pool is closed. They make up their profit with fees: $9 bottles of water in the room, a $29 burger delivered to the room ended up costing $60 after fees costs and tip. This did not include a drink. Parking is $30/day. If you’re traveling for work, or any other reason, go elsewhere.     Customer Service Moved the Rating from 3 to 4.

    While my stay wasn't as good as it could have been, the follow-up from Vilinkumar Bhakta, the front office manager, upped the rating from 3 to 4 stars. There were several and specific issues that I brought to his attention, which I summarized: "I recommended the room or floor needed a wholesale refresh as it just felt...tired". Turns out it was one of the older rooms and I was assured it wasn't representative of them all. But more importantly, it's the way the V handled things that I most appreciate. True customer service is tough to find these days, but he did a great job.     luxury feel for an affordable rate

    The highlight of the Westin Pasadena is the exceptionally comfortable beds. Ultimate level of coziness! The second wonderful feature is location--convenience is all there with walkable cafes and shopping. It's luxurious-feeling for the price. Everything was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. One last note on the rooms: love the waterfall showerhead.     The property is very lovely and is in a good location. One can walk to restaurants and nice shops within 10-15 minutes. The property has been renovated and is currently undergoing a pool renovation. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and the service was speedy and the good was good.     We reserved Westin Pasadina through Expedia. I like eating breakfast at the hotel so I do not have to worry and think of other options and can start my day right away. So I specifically looked for the hotels with breakfast included. I know I can always find something to eat and move on with my day. On the booking page ( I had a picture to show the hotel) it clearly stated breakfast included. They wanted to charge us for the breakfast $60 for two. Never mind that our breakfast was not so complicated that it was worth $60 definately overcharge and it was not even a regular continental breakfast but order by the plate. I had an omlet with potatotes( half were not cooked through) a toast and tiny jar of jam. It tasted just like regular continental at any chain hotel and my husband had a plate of salmon with a bagel. In the end I got a charged a little over $10 and that is because I complained. Then I went to the front desk. It was honestly not about $10 I felt that the reservation said breakfast included then it should be included. If that option would not be available then I would have reserved another hotel. I had an argument with a front desk and in the end they promised to dismiss the charges all together. I was told that even their high end clients get a credit of only $30. Then I told them talk to expedia and remove breakfast included option. So if you decide to stay there do not buy breakfast option . And do not eat at the over priced restaurant at Westin. It is not far from many restaurants in town and there you will find better options, including going to Wholefoods and getting things there.Then to the room. It was clean and your regular room but on the smaller side so nothing special good enough to come to sleep and leave. We had only one might so we did not care much. The bed was not all that comfortable. The mattress was a bit hard for me. If you like a hard mattress then you will be fine. If you are looking for something more comfortable this ain't it. I woke up a few time during the night from pain and had to move. Until in the morning I took extra pillows and layed them as a topper and fell asleep better . finally. Or you could aks for another cover and used the one you had as a topper.
