    It has been how many years since covid, yet, this Marriott still serves breakfast in disposable dishes. Terrible feeling pouring HOT oatmeal into a FOAM, i.e. PLASTIC bowl.The first morning, there was no oats at all to be found, not even Quaker instant ones in paper bags. When I pointed to a sign suggesting oats as one of the bases for breakfast, the staff took the sign away. YET (and kudos to them for this!), the next morning, there was a big pot of freshly made oatmeal waiting for us. This didn’t hold for a long time, so in the long run, I had to ask for oatmeal, the personnel would then go into the kitchen and bring back that doggy bowl of freshly-made oatmeal. So don’t hesitate to ask!Now please replace that plastic with regular ceramics, we are in California, after all! After I saw a fellow traveller come down to breakfast with ceramic mugs from the kitchenette, I started doing the same thing, but it needs to be a centralized thing.(On the flip side, this Marriott was the first hotel that brought back a notepad and a pen in a room, much appreciated!)Now my second complaint is that a nice big stylish bathroom in my room was designed by someone to whom it never occurred that guests might have long hair and actually have to wash it. Every single time there would be a clog (see photo) and I would jump through hoops to get out of there with rinsed feet and ankles. (Certainly, I called for an engineer, but one feels bad about inviting an engineer over just to unclog a bathtub full of hair every other day or so.) Hopefully, a solution can be found because it takes more than 24 hours for all of the water to go away. A friend staying at the same hotel at the same time said that she didn’t have any issues at all and her hair is not exactly short, so it have indeed been a clog in my room.Again, a nice gesture on the part of a Marriott employee to add me Marriott points for the inconvenience.Last, but not least, neither of the printers connected to the computer downstairs for everybody’s use worked. When I emailed my piece to be printed to the front desk, it turned out that their printer was not printing either and the lady had to forward the piece to her manager, who finally managed to have it printed. Took us about half an hour to print six pages.     Hardly excellent‘ been here for three days the ““ kitchen sink still smells after complaining and personally pouring vinegar and baking soda down the drain. floor in the shower is disgusting. At least it’s cool andthe bed seems clean. however, this is possibly the worst Marriot property I’ve ever stayed in. They usually really good.     Modest proprty close to LAX, the Kia Forum, and SoFi Stadium

    We stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne for a one-night stay while seeing a concert at the Kia Forum. The services are basic, but our room certainly met our needs. The room was relatively modern and more spacious that I expected. It had a kitchen that we didn't use. The hotel shares space with a Courtyard by Marriott that offers more services (a Starbucks and a bar and food service in the lobby in the evening). The hotels share a pool area, which is probably well nicer than it would be if there was just a TownePlace Suite on the property.I ate dinner at the pizza restaurant that's on the property (you need to walk outside to get there). I would recommend it!     Clean, Quiet hotel at a really fair price

    My wife and I stayed at the TownePlace Suites for several months after we were unfortunately displaced by the Palisades fire. Because of our extended stay, we had the opportunity to truly experience the hotel and its staff, and we could not have been more grateful.Located about 1¼ miles from LAX, the hotel is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, with small stoves that make it easy to dine in when you prefer. The complimentary breakfast each morning is simple but perfectly serviceable.What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone was consistently friendly, responsive, and accommodating. During our stay, the property was well led by the Marriott manager, Patrick Graves. Lorena at the front desk-along with the rest of the team-always went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Any request, from extra towels to general assistance, was handled promptly—often within minutes.I would highly recommend this hotel to families, anyone attending a sporting event or concert at SoFi Stadium, or travelers who may be unsure where they’re headed next in Southern California but simply need a clean, quiet place for a great night’s sleep.

    Stayed at TownePlace Suites LAX/Hawthorne and was very disappointed. Our room had gum stuck to the comforter and a carpet full of sticky black spots that stained the bottom of my pants. We had to move rooms after speaking with management the next day, and had already unpacked.For the inconvenience, I was only given 5,000 Bonvoy points (worth far less than the 29,000 per night) and told nothing more could be done. Definitely not the level of cleanliness or service I expect from the Marriott.
