I book three nights at this hotel through Expedia. I checked in and I couldn’t believe I had to talk through a protective glass shield. After sliding my payment through a hole at the bottom of the shield, I proceeded to the rickety dingy elevator that took me one floor to a creepy outside walkway to my room.When I opened the door is when the stench hit me. I could not believe what was in front of me. I immediately went down to the desk and informed the receptionist that I could not stay there. When I asked for a refund, I was told that it was non-refundable because I booked through Expedia. I have traveled around the world and this was one of the - if not the worst rooms I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. Location in Culver City was very convenient. Walkable and freeway was close by. Room was spacious, clean, had hardwood floors and the king beds were very comfortable. Noise level was fine except for police cars going by late at night with their sirens on. I stay here because i have a friend that stays in a senior home close by and she told me about this place. I was very pleased with the service that i received. They have a really good restaurant on site that i ate from daily. The desk clerk who checked me in was very polite and quick with the check in process. She also was there to check me out. we came here for a graduation and we really enjoyed our stay. the room was nice and clean. they have a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board in the room which was very helpful. the manager was very friendly. she checked us in and checked us out with a nice bright smile. thank you! I reserved a room for my friend who was caring for an elderly hospital patient, and he was happy with the very spacious room. I live in town and I've always passed by this place and curious about it because it looked so cool. Now I know it is a good place!Also, the free parking was very helpful.
