it was loud and the front dest guy was really weird. I was with my daughter and he kept staring at her. hes a taller white or latino guy, creepy. She was wearing a swim suit and he kept staring. Shes only 8 years old!!!

Overall, I was very impressed with this Travelodge in Huntington Beach! You cannot get a beach front hotel at this price anywhere in the LA area, and I am so happy I chose this one to stay at, especially because I was on a budget. I had a balcony room facing the ocean and would recommend paying a little extra for that because it is so worth it vs being on the other side facing the inner street. The service was great and even called a couple days before my trip to ask if I needed anything else for my upcoming trip. My flight got delayed and had no problem checking into my room super late. The rooms were also clean and comfortable with no problems. If you're staying in Huntington Beach and want to explore more downtown Los Angeles, I would recommend renting a car since it is a little drive, which is what I did. Huntington Beach is a great little surf beach town with tons of restaurants, shopping, and more. Being able to walk to the beach from your hotel is priceless and being there in less than 2 minutes is priceless. There was a little construction/noise and a bus stop in front of the hotel before the beach, but it was not a problem at all for me, as you could easily still see and concentrate on the ocean in front of you. There is only coffee for breakfast, so keep that in mind for meal planning. Overall, I thought this was definitely worth the money and would for sure come back here again. This hotel satisified my desire to be at the beach, since I am from the midwest with no oceans in sight haha.

Couldn’t sleep all night because of the loudest most ear rupturing ac unit coupled with a bed that I personally think was made from rocks and titanium but other than that it was a great time😐

Everything was wonderful except for the mean manager they have at the place. All other staff was very helpful and nice as well as helpful

A good location near the beach, walking distance to a park and many food and shopping options. The rooms are Spartan at best. Rooms are clean enough. It was fairly quiet I was able to get sleep..The whole place could use a facelift and a reboot. It’s sad to see a once Reliable proud name attached to a property that has been allowed to slowly deteriorate to its current condition.
