  I understand you get what you pay for. The hotel is a bit dated, however the amenities are descent. Room came with a microwave and a descent size fridge which I appreciated. Staff was nice, however my poor review is due to the presence of roaches I saw when I got up early to check out. I had to make sure to shake out my belongings and spray down with bug spray when I got home. I did let front desk person know who said he would report it.   Disappointed experience

  We are an elderly couple and requested (over a month in advance) a "senior" room (for 2 nights) with queen-sized bed. Our room was on 2nd floor (18 steps up) with a regular-sized bed. We were told no other room was available. Second night we were locked out and had to go to front desk to get keys adjusted but no one was there. (Same happened when we checked in.) The room was fairly clean but bugs were in bathroom, shower faucet was very hard to figure out and use, desk lamp had no light bulb, and clock did not work. We would never recommend a Best Western to anyone in the future.   Great value with an outstanding breakfast.

  Great value with an outstanding breakfast. I visited midweek when the university was not in session, so things were very quite. They had a nice indoor pool and gym. The room was clean and included a fridge (might have had a microwave too, but I didn't use it), chairs, desk, and TV with hundreds of channels. The check in staff and the manager, on duty at check out were friendly and helpful. The kicker was breakfast. For a 40 room motel with breakfast seating for about 20, the selection was outstanding: Waffles with about 10 choices for topping. Oatmeal, biscuits with gravy, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with peppers and sausage, tortias for wraps, 2 kinds of juice, coffee, 3 cereals, 3 breads, 6 different danish, four styles of yogurt (multiple flavors of each), apples and oranges.   It sucked! It’s July with 100 degree days they do NOT have air on it’s suffocating inside the rooms and hallway took all night to cool down some but remained over 80 degrees in the room all night. Still hot and sweating all night after working outside all day. Dead bugs on the floor. Don’t be fooled by the outside which has been painted and made to look nice. Save yourself go somewhere else.   Not worth it

  Will not be coming back. The prices are hardly worth it. The place looks like some grandmas house, the breakfast was poor despite several people being there on the weekend. No cook, just the front desk attendant. Employees are nice, place is not. Was told they didnt have eggs, and considering thats all I eat for breakfast, I was highly disappointed. The pool area looks like an accident waiting to happen, and definitely needs renovation. I understand it would cost a lot to redo the whole place, but you’d figure they’d want it to be as welcoming as possible.
