This was a last minute family visit so I didn't have much options. The staff was nice and attentive. But the pictures online are much nicer then in person. The hotel definitely needs a refresh.

I have chosen to give 5 stars to the Holiday Inn, Viera despite having a complaint which had me saying I'd never return.My wife and I have visited this hotel before.I am a Diamond Elite member and have been for many years.On check-in we received no acknowledgement of our status which to us was truly no big deal, things, oversights etc happen, no worries.What was more of a issue was how we were ' welcomed on check in which was far from being the warmest we've ever had. As a Diamond member we usually ask for our free breakfast which is a lovely benefit of our status.My wife went back to reception and asked the same staff member if we could have breakfast to which we were told we were not diamond members, dispiite my wife assuring her that we were. The staff member Shannon, still insisted she was correct and started to tell my wife Hilton and Hampton had better loyalty programmes which was of no interested to us but having our word questioned certainly was. We eventually got vouchers for breakfast but never an apology and she still made out that she had been correct all the time.Even on showing her my IHG app with points, status etc it was a shrug of the shoulders. Over all our years travelling we've never had to ask a staff member for their name, this sadly a first.The positives of our short stay, room was good size, spotlessy clean and bathroom had good shower with plenty hot water.Plenty on site car parking. Nice decent size pool too.We enjoyed a lovely fresh cooked made to order breakfast and the lady who served us was lovely,We spoke to front desk on checking out and the lady could not have been more pleasant and helpful.Ironically, because of the other staff members, we shall return and we are delighted about that.Thank you.

1 night stag at holiday inn- never again

My experience would be a 1 due to the fact that there was mold in the 5th floor. I also got pink eye from the pillow.
