    Avoid this dirty, poorly maintained, gross property!

    This hotel was So DIRTY and rundown !! I can’t believe Comfort Inn allows this kind of neglect in one of their properties!! The elevator was thankfully running but with signs posted to limit to three people and no heavy luggage. Our second floor room was poorly maintained, with holes in the wall and the curtains didn’t close completely. The door was not hanging exactly straight in the doorframe, so it was kind of sticky to operate and there was a gap all around it showing the hallway light that made me wonder how secure it was. But the WORST THING were the dark urine stains running down several different areas of the bathroom walls and the toilet seat was grubby with chipped paint. Breakfast was very minimal instant oatmeal, tiny children’s Trix snack sized yogurt cups and watery egg “pucks”, bread and packaged muffins and there was a waffle maker but no batter. The lobby/breakfast area was SO HOT it was very uncomfortable to eat there. There were chips/crumbs on the floor in the main hall and near the elevator that were there through the entire time I was there

    Absolutely the Worst hotel I've ever encountered. Nothing worked and " out of order" signs were everywhere on the property. I've been to 100÷ hotels and the unComfort Inn in Cordova is the bottom of the barrel.

    Not Up to Comfort Suite Standards

    Disappointing stay, This hotel is not up to the standards of Comfort Suites. On the positive side, the front desk employee was helpful and the location is convenient to the nearby Costco and IKEA. When we arrived, the lobby television was so loud, I could not hear what the clerk was saying. I had to ask her to turn it down, which she did. The first room we were given had a strong cigarette smell, but was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. We were moved to another room. At the new room, the deadbolt lock attachment to the door was broken to the point the lock was unusable. The elevator made loud noises like a chain was about to break. The advertised breakfast was extremely sparce. The waffle machine was unplugged and there was no batter. We would not stay here again.

    The only reason we stayed here was because they're pet friendly. Upon checking in, we were informed that the elevators were not working and we would have to take the stairs. We have two dogs and was lucky enough to still get a room on the first floor, which is their pet floor. Overnight about 20 cars got their windows smashed out. The front desk was quick to say that the electricity to the security cameras got cut, which seems odd. We will never stay there again and do not recommend this hotel.

    My wife and I visit Memphis/Cordova frequently. This was our first stay at Comfort Suites Cordova, but it will not be our last. The comforts, amenities, staff, cleanliness, accessibility, and surrounding shopping access were all exceptional. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast nook was clean and easy to use.Our room was on the third floor, very quiet, nicely arranged, and the rates were very affordable. I especially enjoyed the front-desk staff. They were each one helpful, amenable, positive, and overall pleasant to be around. We will be staying at this location each time we visit in the future.
