Noise problems hard to take

There was a lot I liked about the hotel but they have done zero about soundproofing from motorcycles blasting all night long on the roads surrounding the hotel. They should either make an arrangement with the city to protect this hotel district from that noise problem late at night or put soundproofing in to make it possible to sleep. I wouldn't want to go through that again. I don't know if it's just mid-April (and prom night weekend as the police claimed - what does that have to do with motorbikes?) or if it's all the time but the noise was intolerable. They probably should have left it a Greyhound station if they aren't prepared to handle the noise issues. They don't have interior facing rooms that I know of. I now would expect the same problem at any hotel on Union.

After arriving at the Hilton next door only to find it had closed down, we came here and we're able to get booked in, staff were lovely and helpful. Julius who works the breakfast bar is lovely, always smiling and taking things out for a chat

The hotel is well located, in front of the Redbirds home stadium and a short walk to Beale street. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Torri was very instrumental in helping us with a list of recommendations. It made our trip one of the best we could possibly have asked for.
